Skittles has a meme called Heads or Tails this week the theme is Direction.

After much pondering, praying and consulting, I have decided to continue pursuing that which I have set aside when my mom got sick. I am already mapping out the direction I will be taking come latter part of this year to early part of next year. Wish me luck!
But before anything else, I still have to find out where I can get a Grohe faucet for the kitchen sink. I wish to be able to leave my family in a well functioning house so as not to worry about them when I take the direction I am aiming at.
I hope I did well for my first Heads or Tails

Happy Tuesday!

I got tagged by both Tita Liza and Wendy girl to do this Eleven or Ocean’s Eleven tag
The rule: Name 11 people you can think of right off the top of your head. Don’t read the questions underneath until you write the names of all the 11 people. This is a lot funnier if you actually randomly list the names first. No cheating.
- Lemuel
- Shen
- Tim
- Meng
- Kuya Chok
- Bebe
- Him
- Rob
- Daj
- Michael
- Jake
I’m passing this tag to Pam, Vera, Gayle and Emmyrose.
NOW, IT’S TIME TO ANSWER THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS:
1. How did you meet # 4? She’s my sister
2. What would you do without #5? I can manage on my own.
3. What would you do if #2 and # 6 were going out? As in going out on a date? I’d freak out! Shen’s my barkada and Bebe’s my brother. She’s way older than he is.
4. Who’s #10’s best friend? Norman.
5. Have you ever eaten around #1? Huh?!?
6. Do you miss #2? I do. She’s like a sister to me and she’s having some troubles recently. I just love this girl the way she is, with all her kalukringans and all hehe
7. Who is #11 dating? I have no idea.
8. What do you think of #3? She’s one of my best girl friends! And she’s very much pregnant
9. What do you think of #9? He’s my ebook mate. Last I heard from his email, he’s on a vacation in Sydney with his wife.
10. Who does #2 like? Naku si Baguio Boy! Hahaha
11. Would you marry #8? Nope. He’s already married. And di kami talo eh. Barkada
And now thank goodness I am done with this tag. I can now concentrate on the outdoor lighting that my dad is asking me to research on.
P.S. Mareng Wends and Tita Liza, salamat sa tag. Naaliw daw ako. I can’t remember exactly pero may ganitong laro dati nung HS di ba?

Our little girl is ready to go swimming this coming Friday! See her in her knitted one-piece bathing suit done by her grandma… (click photos for larger view)

Isn’t she adorable?
And how about her bathing suit? Her grandma is very creative when it comes to knitting. You should see her works!
Anyway, have a fun week ahead everyone!

There are so many things to be thankful for this past week. But I will highlight something that I just realized because a close friend of mine has been ranting about her situation since this morning.
I am thankful for the family I have. Most particularly with the mom that I had. No, mine was not perfect. My mom passed away in 2005. But when she was still living, she was an understanding and cool mom. I argued with her a lot. But at the end of the day, she was first and foremost my mom and ally. I could tell her everything. Let me correct that. Almost everything. And she would listen. She’d feel angry on my behalf, she’d feel offended on my behalf, she’d be proud of my accomplishments, she’d tell everyone how much I love her…
I know all these about my mom but why I chose to write this down for my very first Blog Your Blessings Sunday is because my friend has been ranting about her mom and how she finds fault in everything she does. I know her mom personally and it really seems to me that her mom loves putting her down for reasons only she knows. My friend’s situation reminded me how lucky I was that even though my mom left us early in life, at least I can remember her fondly and tell everyone how cool she was.
If the whole world were put into one scale, and my mother in the other, the whole world would kick the beam.

I know, I know. Almost everyone is already on Twitter and I’ve just signed up. Hehehe… You have to excuse my late registration to the deviant streak in me. Whenever something new comes up, don’t expect me to grab it at once. Kahit lahat pa kayo nagkakagulo dyan, I will get it in my own time. That’s me. So when everyone’s going a-gaga over Twitter, I am still using the Asides plugin of wordpress. I didn’t see it worth signing up before. But now, it’s different…
I’m still thinking of signing up with Entrecard. Tita told me that she gets quite good traffic because of it. 150 uniques a day. That’s pretty good. Still thinking about it, though.
Anyway, if you are with Twitter and would like to follow me, just click on the Twitter words within this post

I am sure you’ve noticed the change in themes. It will change once more. I am looking for a theme that I have in mind for this site and I’ve yet to meet the designer for it. I am thinking of doing it on my own. But we’ll see. I’ve so many things to do and designing a theme will require a lot of time. Especially if the theme is for me hehe…

I was not able to meet Inay Neng when she was here in the Philippines for a couple of months. I was too busy with family affairs left and right. When I was not busy with the family, I was busy earning some money. Nakakahinayang. But there are other times pa naman. I am sure of it
Now, I was also not able to attend the April 15 EB with Ate Ann and family and other blogger friends. I was with my brother the whole day because of college enrollments and all. Plus I had to do a last minute revision to the audit report that I did for a friend’s company.
I apologize to these blogger friends. I did not snub you guys. I was very much excited to meet all of you. Kaya lang there were important things that I needed to attend to kasi. Sorry talaga ha. There are weeks that I am free but the EB dates fell on dates that I was busy talaga.
Hopefully I will be able to attend iBlog4. And other EB dates.

Happy weekend everyone! Enjoy and have fun!

Warning: This is a longish post. This post contains an update on my latest Baguio trip and my Weekend Snapshot entry.
When I came back from Baguio, I still carried around that feeling of being on vacation. Ang hirap bumalik sa work mode hehe… So I just scheduled two posts and that’s it.
We went to Baguio last Friday, April 4 at around 3am. We were 21 persons in all. 3 aunts and 2 uncles from my father’s side of the family with their families. We went there because my dad have not seen Baguio yet and it was his 50th birthday last April 2nd. We stayed at Tiptop Vacation Homes located at Pacdal Road, Baguio City. It’s a bit far from downtown but I swear to you, the place is worth it! Php4,000 a night with a great view of the surroundings plus no charges for additional beds. Click here to see what the place looks like.

Ganyan kami karami hehe
When we went to Baguio, the temperature at night was 15 degrees. Brrr… Love the cold weather! We went to the usual tourist spots like Burnham Park (where the kids went boating and we had fun with bikes), Mines View Park, Wright Park, Strawberry Farm, Bell Church, Grotto. And then at night, we had barbecues and lots of laughs.

We have so many photos taken and you will see more of it in the coming Weekend Snapshot entries of mine. Below is my official entry for the Weekend Snapshot this week.

That’s the view from the terrace of the place we stayed at. I think that’s around 6 in the evening. I really recommend the place we stayed at. The owners are great. Very accommodating. You need only ask them and they will give it to you. The place is high so it’s much colder than when you’re downtown. And the house is very cozy and clean.
My family, relatives and I just love Baguio so much. A province and yet a city. You get the tranquility and peace of being in the province yet you still get the benefits of being in a city.
Have a great week everyone!

It cuts like a knife, she’s out of my life…
I never should have let her go. I never should have tested the fates and threw caution to the wind. It was not meant to be, they said. But it was all my fault, my heart says. I took her for granted. Work and adventure were more important. I neglected her, plain and simple. That was the reason why she left. That was the reason I am miserable up until now. Yes, I tried dating. Yes, there are times that I thought… This is it! I can finally move on! But I was wrong. I still love her. And I think I always will.
I am looking at her now. She is laughing at something the man said. I miss her laughter. I miss her lovely eyes looking at me tenderly, with so much love. I miss everything about her.
But it was all in the past now. I can’t have her anymore. She has moved on. I need to as well. But how?

The whole family will be off to Baguio starting today until Monday evening.
Anyway, long weekend sa Pinas dahil on Monday, it will be a regular non-working holiday. Araw ng Kagitingan. Holiday economics ni GMA kaya instead of April 9, the holiday was moved to 7th.
So, bye for now! See you on(line) Monday! Happy (long) weekend everyone! Have fun!
P.S. There are no scheduled posts so just scroll down below and read posts you haven’t read yet
