I was bloghopping a couple of minutes ago. I visited this blogger-friend of mine and her most recent post is all about relationships. I was scrolling down and reading the comments and I read one from a popular blogger. She is really a piece of work. She left a nasty comment directed to my blogger-friend directly.
I just want to point out something. We blog about our own opinions. We write down what we think about a certain subject and you may dispute it or concur. But to leave a nasty comment directed to the blogger without even pointing out why you think her post sucks… well…
I think she’s better off shutting her trap than leaving comments like that. There are really people out there who cannot take an opinion that is contrary to theirs.
Thank goodness I don’t have blogger-friends like that person.

I don’t really join emailing groups. I just don’t like my inbox cluttered with emails I can’t read. But I am a member of one email group for years now. I don’t mind the emails because it contains free books. I love receiving free books, especially the newly-released ones. Anyway, an ebook buddy of mine sent an email to the group with pictures that will make us smile. I chose two to share with you…

A smile can do wonders to your disposition. And it can make a difference to the person you bestowed it upon.

Did the photos made you smile like it did to me?
Happy Friday everyone!

For those who do not know it yet, we lost our mom a few years back. Three years now to be exact. So we only have our dad with us. And we are not ready to lose another parent anytime soon. Thus, making everything special to him, to let him know how much we love him, is imperative for us siblings.
This coming Father’s Day, we are already thinking of treating him to dinner. The day before that, we want to bring him to different places where we think he will enjoy. I already bought tickets to a basketball game. I already reserved a massage for him. I also made sure that he will be given a haircut and some good old nail buffing that day.
But of course, we are still looking for the best gift to give him. We gave him a really nice watch last year. The year before that, we bought him five branded polo shirts. But we are stuck in finding the perfect gift to give this coming Father’s Day.

Thank goodness for Collectibles Today. They have the best gifts for father’s day that anyone can avail of. We saw this great Our Name Is Mud Grilled By Dad Platter. It is a personalized platter for dads out there who love to cook. And my dad is a great cook! It is priced at $32.00 US. We will get one of this for dad!
How about you, are you done picking out the best gift you can give your dad?

If the only prayer you ever say in your entire life is ‘thank you’, it will be enough.
~ Meister Eckhart

I often say “Thank You!” after a meal, when I wake up, when I grab an opportunity, when I receive money, when everybody’s home already…
I may not say a full prayer but I think He knows already what I wanted to say.
How often do you say thank you?

We all know what happened to young Hollywood celebrities like Paris Hilton, Nicole Richie and Lindsay Lohan. Driving under the influence of alcohol. That’s the charge that they got when they were arrested. They got good lawyers so they were given lesser punishment. But of course, with the promise of never driving under the influence of alcohol again. If you are having the same legal problems, just go to Kestenbaum, Eisner & Gorin, LLP, Criminal Attorneys Los Angeles | Southern California DUI, Felony, Misdemeanor Lawyers. Angie left a comment on my weird habit post…
Sounds familiar. Hehehe. Check out Mr. Monk and find out how Monkish you are. http://www.usanetwork.com/series/monk/monkish/
You know what? I did. I checked out the Are You Monk-ish Online Quiz and here is the result…

*Click image to read what it says…
I am Monk-ish! Hahaha
I must admit that the thought of being in contact with a sweaty person really makes me cringe. Sorry maarte talaga ako sa ganyan. That is the reason why I don’t like riding the metro rail (MRT). Aside from being pushed and shouted at, even if you are smelling fresh and clean, expect to smell like sweat when you alight.

Try the quiz and let me know your result.

London is a very exciting city to be in. A friend of mine recently went to London and Paris for a business and leisure trip. She sent me the photos she took of her visit to London and I must say that after viewing the photos, I was green with envy. I want to go there as well! She told me that she will be going there again by September of this year and that she is willing to pay for half of my airfare. Now, that’s a plan!
Airfare okay, all I have to worry about is finding cheap hotels in London so that I can book a room for me there. I want to be able to stay at central london hotels that will give me the same kind of service as expensive hotels but of course, with lower rates. I would like to ride the London Eye, visit Madame Tussauds, visit old castles and just go walk along the streets and feel the old London.
Now, I found Hotel Assist. It is a web site where you can find discount london hotels like the one I am looking for. Hotel Assist can be found online at www.Hotel-Assist.com and it is a site dedicated to booking guests to London hotels. Cheap london hotels are hard to come by because you know, London is such a place in demand to tourists of all races. But Hotel Assist is run by Londoners so they know how to assist you well. If you are planning to go to London anytime soon and you are under a tight budget like me, Hotel Assist can give you the best help you need. Visit the site now for more information.

1. “It’s better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all.” What do you think of that saying?
True. I believe that there are things that you only experience when you truly love someone. You can never feel this strange giddy feeling, or the hot and cold feeling that you feel at the same time…
2. How much money do you have in your wallet? Right now!
P2,000 plus coins. Budget for the next few days
3. When you fall asleep are you usually on your side, your stomach, or your back?
On my side. Hugging my body pillow.
4. When you have a deadline do you get started right away, wait until the last minute, or switch back and forth between things?
Actually, I have the bad habit of waiting until the last minute
I am trying to do something about this procrastination habit and hopefully I could lessen it.
5. What is the the most extreme sports you ever did?
Drag racing. Almost hit a post so I stopped.
6. If you find a spider in your house do you kill it, ignore it, or shoo it outside? Why?
Just shoo it away. My dad doesn’t like us killing insects or anything crawling on the walls. Just shoo it away and that’s that.
7. Do you smoke?
Nope.
8. If you only have one day to live, what would you do?
I will brief my sister about all my possessions, accounts, usernames and passwords. And then I will spend it talking to my family.
9. Would you rather be richer than anyone, better than everyone, or less encumbered by responsibility? And Why?
You know what, being richer and better than anybody entails a ton of responsibilities. I am better off without those.
10. Which of the following characteristics would you rather have? Choose only one. And Why? Nice, Exciting, Loving, Hot!
Definitely HOT! *lol* I am already nice, exciting and loving. Hahaha
Happy Wednesday everyone!
