Do you know the value of time?

To understand the value of a year ask a student who failed in a subject.
To understand the value of a month ask a woman who gave a premature birth.
To understand the value of a week ask an editor of a weekly magazine.
To understand the value of an hour ask a man who is waiting for his girlfriend.
To understand the value of a minute ask a man who missed his flight.
To understand the value of a second ask a man who just survived a hit and run.
To understand the value of a millisecond ask a silver medalist at the Olympics.
I saw this in another blog and immediately thought how I value time so much. Losing two family members made me value time more than ever. Whereas before I love spending time alone or with friends rather than with my family, now I would rather stay at home on a weekend to hang out with my siblings.
Time is important to me. How about you, how do you treat time?

Do you have a bad credit standing? Do you want to be able to get offers catering to people with a credit standing like yours? Then I found a web site for you. Bad Credit Offers is the web site I am talking about.
BadCreditOffers.com – A New Consumer Resource
Features credit cards, mortgages, loans, and resources for people with bad credit.
With the number of “bad credit” consumers in the U.S. growing by the day, our site is a great resource to help these consumers get back on their feet financially. Rather than applying for the first offer that comes in the mail, our site allows visitors to compare dozens of bad credit offers from major providers and find the best offer to fit their needs. And by making payments on time, consumers can rebuild their credit and, perhaps, their financial future.
Please be sure to link to our main URL at as well as some interior pages.

I have this weird habit of wanting everything to be in its place or in exactly the way I want it before I can proceed to do another task. For example, I am writing a post and then all of a sudden I noticed that my desk is dusty, I have to wipe it clean first with alcohol before I can write again. Or a few minutes ago, I noticed I have several posts in draft. I deleted all of it and stored in notepad some that I might post in the future… before I started writing this post.
I don’t know if you also have the same habit but I just acquired this when I worked for this big call center company. Maybe because I shared a room with three other employees, I couldn’t work then without wiping my desk, including my mouse, keyboard and telephone, with alcohol. And because the office was always quite noisy, focusing would mean cleaning my file in-tray or deleting files I did not need. Then I could start working.
But it ‘worsened’ because I now have other quirks that stemmed from this habit of mine. I don’t know what you call this but now, aside from procrastination, this is another habit that I want to get rid of.

My uncles love playing poker. Whenever there is a gathering at home, expect them to play at least two rounds. One uncle of mine even plays online poker just to make sure he gets a dose of his favorite card game at least once a week. Poker relaxes him, he said. It is a game that uses brains unlike other games he plays, according to him again. I think I should tell him about the poker calculator.
PokerProLabs.com offers a poker odds calculator. This is a poker tool that can help a player calculate the odds against him. This poker tool can be the break you are looking for to win in the next set of poker games.
Go to PokerProLabs.com now and get that poker calculator you need. This is both for the enthusiast and more for the newbies out there. Visit the site now for more information on this great poker tool.

Hazel has a new sister. Her name is Liezel but we call her Lottie for she cries something fierce, just like the kid in Princess Sara. She is an adorable kid and since Hazel is already growing up, we are turning our love for shopping for toddlers to little Lottie. I found this Hello Kitty & Friends 4 Piece Toddler Bedding Set by Lambs & Ivy at Net Kids Wear. I love the lavender color and Hello Kitty so I would love to buy it for Lottie. 4 Piece Bedding Set includes: Comforter, Top Sheet, Bottom Sheet and a Pillowcase. Lambs & Ivy Hello Kitty toddler bedding is 100% cotton!

We already brought Lottie a lot of little clothes for her. A couple of pairs of little shoes as well and some cute baby stuff. This bedding set will be perfect for her room which is painted pure white. The bedding set will add a splash of lavender to the pure white room. It would be great with the photos because Lottie’s parents are thinking of photographing the whole room. When Hazel was still using that room, it was painted baby pink.
Anyway, if you want to buy the same bedding set or get to see other sets, then just go to NetKidsWear.com and get to see a great selection of Toddler Bedding, Baby Bedding, Blankets, Bedding Sets, Bed Skirts, Sheets, Mattress Pads and more.

A couple of hours ago, around 3am today, my sister and I were watching a show called Cheaters. I don’t know if you’ve come across this show but as the title suggests, it is about cheating on partners. The show goes like this… a person feeling something wrong with his/her partner (boyfriend, live-in partner, husband) asks the host of the show, an investigator, to do some surveillance. And when they are absolutely sure that the partner is cheating, caught in the act that is, then confrontation follows.
At one confrontation, the woman who was caught in the act with her lover, was really bursting with anger. She was angry with her boyfriend for bringing the tv cameras with him and confronting her about the affair. Do you know what happened? She went away with her lover! Unrepentant over what she was caught doing. Tsk tsk.
While watching the show, two things were running in my mind. First, is it legal to show on national tv the scenes caught on the surveillance camera? Remember, they are not doing anything illegal, illicit maybe but nothing illegal. Second, can you really solve anything with a confrontation? If you confronted your partner, with the tv cameras in tow, will it make him/her do the right thing?
At one point, with another case, the man was shown having sex with her other woman inside his car. It was blurred, of course. But you can make out what they’re doing. Then during the confrontation, the face of the woman was shown. She was clearly shocked that the man had a live-in partner all along. She is also a victim yet she was portrayed as a villain in that segment.
The point of this post is, personally, I believe confrontations will not solve anything. Based on my experience, it just incites more anger. If you can, try to calm down first and then talk things out with the one you are angry with. Wait for the right time. If you must confront the person right away, do not bring someone with you. A third person can only add to the anger and confusion. It must be between you and the person you are angry with alone.
And you know what, the other person, the lover, the third party, could also be a victim. You just never know.

If you want to talk about beauty, well, the person to talk to is my friend, Jane. She is the one woman I know who has a lot of knowledge when it comes to making someone beautiful and everything beautiful. Maybe working in a salon for a couple of years made her into someone like this but I think it is in her genes.
I believe she will be going back to the metro to open up a salon of her own. Beauty Warehouse will be the best place for her to get the things she will need for her salon. They have everything she needs. Beauty Warehouse will be a great online shop for her because she is the type of person who hates to go to different places to shop. She loves going to a place where everything she needs is already there for her to buy and pay for. She is a bit lazy when it comes to shopping but when she spots something beautiful, believe me, she will buy it even if it will mean blowing her budget.
One time, she saw this beautiful coffee table at a flea market near a beach resort we went to one summer. Even though she was complaining that she was short on budget that time, she still bought it through her credit card. Do you know why? Because it will look good on her home office.
Anyway, back to everything beautiful… Go and visit BeautyWarehouse.co.za now and find something you might need there.

Do you have a credit card? If so, have you reached the limit already? Or are you burdened with the high interest rate and hidden charges? Or perhaps, you will just apply for a credit card?
I had my very first credit card when I was 21 years old. I was already working that time and one of my officemates referred me to the credit card agent of a bank. It was actually very easy to get one. All I did was fill out a form, sign it and fax it to the credit card agent. After a week, I got a confirmation from the credit card company that I was approved for the card. I got the actual card a few days after it.
When I got my card, I immediately used it. Alas, at the end of the month, I got my very first statement and was shocked at how much I spent. I was not able to pay the whole amount but instead paid the minimum fee and then on the next billing got my very first taste of the high interest rate attached to my credit card.
Compare Credit Cards, this is the only suggestion I have for all of you out there. Do not be satisfied with the one recommended to you by a friend or a co-worker. Research and know more about the different credit cards you can apply for. Go to GettingACreditCard.com now for more information on the various credit cards available in the market today.

Dalawang beses akong di nakasali sa Litratong Pinoy. Una nung Ina ang tema. Pangalawa nung Apoy.

My aunt is going on a 3-country business trip by next month. It will be her second time to go out of the country but the first one was a leisure trip. We were talking last weekend about how it would be really great to be able to travel out of the country with the whole family. You see, when my family and I travel, we do it with my father’s side of the family. The saying “the more, the merrier” has never been more true.
But well, it would be really costly if we all go together. Maybe in a few years, we can do it. But not now. She told me that her boss was talking about timeshare with her and how she owns one. That’s how she can go on a vacation out of the country once in a while.
Oh well, maybe soon we can also do that. Not now, though. There are too many household expenses to think about for now.

Do you want to be able to go to an event in style? Well then, how about riding in a Cadillac sound? Well, it sounds good to me!
I would love to be able to go to a party alighting from a Cadillac. You know what, there are Cadillacs for such occasions at New Cadillacs Harrisburg PA. They are a proud unit of the Sutliff Auto Group. The Sutliff family has been providing outstanding service to Central PA for over 75 years. Sutliff Chevrolet has been at 13th and Paxton St in Harrisburg since 1931. Saturn of Harrisburg was the first Saturn dealership anywhere. There are now 5 area Saturn locations. Sutliff was chosen among a select group of GM dealers to begin the HUMMER franchise in July 2002, and is now proud to present Cadillac as well.
Their goal is to make every customer completely satisfied. Well, that’s good to hear! I would not want to ride an elegant car and have it die on me at the middle of a busy road. Or a deserted road at that.
If you are a businessman who would like to impress your client or a potential business partner, then arriving in a Cadillac at the designated meeting place will really be a great way to do it. If you want to be the star of the night, well, a Cadillac would be a way to make you a star! Or a wedding car, perhaps?
Go to NewCadillacsHarrisburgPA.com now for more information.
