My 'Typhoon Frank' Day

June 22nd, 2008

I spent last night and almost the entire day today sleeping and reading. It rained like crazy yesterday and almost the whole day today. Typhoon Frank hit the whole Philippines. Most of the country suffered from no electricity. Luckily, our area was one of those that didn’t suffer from it. We didn’t have a DSL connection, no phone lines, and no cable tv. But that’s okay. As long as the whole family is safe, we are fine.

It was a lazy day for all of us. Even my dad who doesn’t like to just laze around the house did just that.

On a sad note, bad luck struck a lot of families, most especially those houses that are flooded and those victims of the capsized boat MV Princess of the Stars. Let’s all pray for them.

I pray that everyone will be safe and sound at the comfort of their homes.

    We didn’t have power for an extended period yesterday. When it resumed in the afternoon, there was no cable. Good thing the Internet connection wasn’t affected.

    My heart goes out to all the victims of tropical storm Frank.

    Naiinis nga ako sa news ngayon eh. Naiinis ako sa nangyari sa tumaob na barko.

    I’m just so sad. :(

    @Laarni…

    Ay naku, girl, di ka nag-iisa. Incidents like these can be avoided naman masyado lang talaga lax ang government natin. With what happened to MV Dona Paz, dapat matagal ng di nago-operate ang Sulpicio Lines and yet with 4 the same incidents, ayan sila at parang galit pa sa mga kaanak ng mga biktima. Grr…
