I know a lot of people who wants to become an entrepreneur. You know, be their own boss and not have to answer to anyone but themselves. I, myself, would like to become one. But of course, not everyone is equipped with the skills and abilities of becoming an entrepreneur. My sister, Vivian, had to go and get a crash course on entrepreneurship at a local university here in the metro. It was an 8-week course that gave her an insight as to her capabilities as a potential entrepreneur.
If you are interested in the same course, there are college entrepreneurship courses being offered at Kauffman.org that you can avail of. I tell you, a full course makes a huge difference. There are just some things that you have in yourself, inherent in a way. A knack for business, as they say. But there are things that you need to learn inside a classroom, or through a professional. Again, you can get this through Kauffman.org if you want to.
Go and find out more about college and minority entrepreneurship at Kauffman.org now. There is no better time for you to start building those skills in entrepreneurship than now. Go to Kauffman.org now for more information.

I spent last night and almost the entire day today sleeping and reading. It rained like crazy yesterday and almost the whole day today. Typhoon Frank hit the whole Philippines. Most of the country suffered from no electricity. Luckily, our area was one of those that didn’t suffer from it. We didn’t have a DSL connection, no phone lines, and no cable tv. But that’s okay. As long as the whole family is safe, we are fine.
It was a lazy day for all of us. Even my dad who doesn’t like to just laze around the house did just that.
On a sad note, bad luck struck a lot of families, most especially those houses that are flooded and those victims of the capsized boat MV Princess of the Stars. Let’s all pray for them.
I pray that everyone will be safe and sound at the comfort of their homes.

My uncle owns two horses that he houses with his friend who in turn owns five horses. All seven are race horses. My uncle and his friend are obviously race horse enthusiasts and both of them are looking for a horse exerciser for the horses. For my non-Filipino friends and visitors, sorry I am not in the mood to translate what I have written below. But suffice it to say that I am ranting about something…
Minsan kung iisipin mo, kaya mo naman eh. Pero bakit kaya parang may kulang pa rin? I mean, yun bang parang sana meron ka. Bakit kaya yung iba basta na lang nararamdaman yun tapos ikaw parang wala. May nakikita kang okay pero ni wala ka namang nararamdaman ni katiting. Dedma. May sira kaya ako?

I texted my friend this afternoon asking her if she is nagtatampo because I was not able to attend her baby shower last June 7. It was also the day I was supposed to meet another friend for lunch.
I had to beg off from the supposed appointments that day. That’s because I had to attend to a very important task. I had to go to a client of mine and then in the afternoon, it was time with my brother and sisters.
Sometimes, you have to choose between family and friends and well, as most of you would surely agree with me, family comes first. I just feel bad that my friend’s feeling bad about everything

When my mom was still alive, she wanted everything lively in the house. The decor should be a vibrant color. She hated dark colors. For her, it symbolizes gloom and it brings in negative vibes. Unlike with vibrant colors wherein for her, it only brings positive energy in the house. That’s why when I was looking for Cheap Rugs for the house, I looked for the bright one. And I found the perfect rug for our dining area. Check out the photo below…

Beautiful rug, isn’t it? Perfect for our home! I found that rug at Superior Rugs. They offer quality made area rugs. I just love the textures they offer. I found another rug that would be perfect for the bedroom. You know what, I figured that instead of buying carpet, I can use rugs instead and it will not only be comfortable for our feet but will also serve as something of an art. You just have to go to Superior Rugs’ web site to know what I am talking about. Their rugs are of superior quality and very pleasing to the eyes. And take note, these quality made rugs are being offered at low prices. All for you!
This reminds me, instead of buying expensive gifts for my friends who are getting married in the coming months and for relatives this coming holidays, I would rather get them each a gorgeous rug from Superior Rugs. What do you think? Rugs can be a practical gift. Or it could be a work of art for some. Rugs from Superior Rugs can be used as a wall display if you want. I already saw one that I would love to put on my wall.
So for Area Rugs, there is no other place to go to but at SuperiorRugs.com, remember that. Go and visit their site now and find a rug or two for your home.

A friend of mine who’s already a father of one visited me last weekend. We had a lot of catching up to do. Back in high school, we were really the best of friends. We still are. But between his family and work and my obligations, well, we hardly see each other anymore. We talked about work, family, vacation rentals and business trips abroad as well as our five-year plan for our families.
One of the things we talked about was his family. He told me that his wife is very understanding but that he is already feeling guilty from all the time he was spending away from home due to his business trips abroad. He is the head auditor of one of the biggest multinational companies here in the country and well, it really takes him across Southeast Asia. He is cooking up this great getaway for him and his wife. Which is really sweet of him. I told him that I know there are vacation rentals by owner that he can check out for this very purpose. They will just leave their two-year-old daughter to his in-laws for the duration of their vacation.

He is actually eyeing Florida rentals because aside from vacation, he also wants to visit his sister who lives in Florida. I told him he can check out VacationHomeRentals.com which offer several properties for one to rent for the week or the month. It will be perfect for him and his wife. He checked out the web site already and he wants to book Aquazul / Ocean Front Pool Home at Islamorada, Florida.
You might be looking for one yourself, just go to their web site and check out the properties listed there. Visit VacationHomeRentals.com now.

When I was a kid, I believed that Santa Claus is real. I would put a stocking at the window with a letter in it, asking for toys or other things that I know would make me and my siblings happy. A Letter from Santa was the least I expected but it came with a toy every year. It made me really happy to receive one. It always said that I was a good girl and that I deserve to be rewarded because of it. And then, of course, the toys I asked would be near my bed. I bought all of it. Even when I was big enough to know that Santa is my dad, well, I still looked forward to it year after year.
That’s why I know that this idea of Letters from Santa is great! Kids will love this! I should know, I was a kid once who looked forward to letters from Santa every year. Package from Santa is a company who thought that why not make a kid happy with a personalized letter from Santa, from the North Pole? It will make him or her hope and be good and happy. Some people say that it is better for kids to know that Santa is not real. Well, I still say that kids should enjoy the holidays and enjoy being kids! And Santa is very much a part of holidays and being a kid.
A friend of mine even makes her husband dress up as Santa for their kids. Her kids look forward to “seeing” Santa every Christmas eve. Now, instead of making her husband dress up for her kids to “see” Santa, she and her husband can order Santa Letters instead for their kids.
If you are interested in this great idea, I suggest you go to PackageFromSanta.com right away. Order a personalized Santa letter for your kids. And watch the happiness in their eyes when they receive one.

I do not like dust in the house. My allergies act up plus my sister had this skin problem because of dust mites. That’s why my dad vacuums the house on a daily basis. And I wipe surfaces of the furniture around me daily. But well, we all know how electricity charges keep going up these days so vacuuming the house daily really puts a dent in my pocket.
Well, there is a solution to my dilemma, I just found out today. Dirt Devil found a way to beat the skyrocketing energy charges of today. They created the AccuCharge Tecnology cordless vacuum. Because of this great technology that uses 70% less energy, the cordless vacuums are the first to be Energy Star approved. There are two choices for you: a stick vac and a hand vac. Personally, I would like to get both since my dad can use the stick vac while I can use the hand vac. Anything that can save me some money in household bills is a great product for me. Much more because the AccuCharge cleans the house and at the same time saves energy. Now that is a product every household should have!
If you are interested to get the product, go to DirtDevil.com now and find out how the AccuCharge cordless vacuums can help you clean your house and at the same time save you some money.

There are times when things seem to be unattainable…

We moan, we curse, we get angry, we get frustrated.
But maybe, we are not really looking. Maybe, we are over analyzing things.
Maybe there is another way in…

Look closely, you will find the right way.
Look closely, you will realize that there is a simpler way to hurdle problems.
Look closely for there is a way to reach your goals.

My dad has a mini garden at home. He developed this interest in gardening when my mom got sick. Since she could not tend to the plants that we have, my dad took over. That’s when he realized that he loves planting and he started a mini garden here at home. It became his hobby, a therapy of sorts, especially when my mom passed away.
Now, we have four different flowers planted in his mini garden. It is a pocket garden actually but it also has a tree beside it. The wall behind the garden is filled with ferns and vines. There is also a bougainvillea planted near one of our windows. If you can only see the front of our house, you will surely love it!
If you are looking for plants, seeds, gardening supplies and other gardening materials, I suggest you check out ShopWiki.com right away.
