BYBS: 30th Birthday
August 3rd, 2008
Today is my 30th birthday. I was born on August 3, 1978. I have many things to be thankful for and here goes my list:
- Thank God for another year in my life.
- For the past 30 years, life had given me too many hardships. But because of that, I am who I am right now. It made me stronger and more resilient. I might now have always been the winner in those hardships but I emerged a better person in each of those ‘battles’ in my life. I thank God for that. I would not have life any other way.
- I thank God my parents never played favorites. I thank God my parents taught me the proper values that formed who I am right now. I am thankful that even though my mom is not here anymore, she left us with so many good memories and that I know, in spirit, she will be with me this day.
- I am thankful I have siblings who look up to me and who listen to what I have to say. We had fights like ordinary siblings but never to the point that we would hate each other.
- I have two aunts who have been very supportive of me through all these years. I thank God for them.
- It was not always a walk in the park for me and my family when it comes to finances. But God has always provided and for that I am very thankful.
- I have a lot of offline friends when I started a long time ago. It has dwindled down through the years. I thank God for the few ones I have left because I know that they are the true ones, tested through time. The same thing goes for my online friends.
- Inay, itay, MouseyJu, Nona, Ate Ghee, Wendy, Karen, ate Melai, Devilicious… almost two years now. Thanks!
- To Tatay and tita Liza, kuya Dom, ate Thess, Raquel… I appreciate you guys more than you know.
- To Rebecca, you keep the hopeless romantic in me burning with all your great mushy posts. I love it!
- To all my blogger friends who keep me inspired day in, day out… thanks from the bottom of my heart!
- I have made so many mistakes in the past. But it made me appreciate so many things and a lot of persons I have been taking for granted.
Special thanks to Tita Liza, MouseyJu and Gelliane for the birthday posts they have written for me.
I pray for good health, a boyfriend, more moolah and more years with the people I love. Happy birthday to me!
