I want to believe…

I remember when I was in college, I was hooked on two popular American tv shows of that time: Friends and X-Files. Both shows were introduced to me by my college friends. I remember Elsa kept telling us about Mulder and Scully and how the tv show kept her awake after it thinking about the episode. I love shows like that, makes you think afterwards. It won’t spoon feed you everything about it and will make you use your brains afterwards. That’s the most interesting shows for me, now and then. So I started watching the show and I got hooked!

I watched every show and discussed it with friends the next day. I have a friend who were so addicted to the show like me and we would discuss the show until the next one, often speculating about what will happen and who really Krycek was. We fancied ourselves in love with Fox Mulder and awed by the strength and intelligence of Dana Scully. We also fancied ourselves followers of The Lone Gunmen. And we were really updated on the characters of the tv show. Geeky stuff hehe… Of course, we also kept waiting for the two to finally fall in love and be a couple. Good thing that didn’t happen. Looking back, it will become a big disappoint for sure.

I watched the first movie and will surely watch the movie tomorrow, on its opening day here in Manila. I read some disappointing reviews but what the heck! It’s been 10 years since the last movie, who would not be curious as to what this one will be about, right?

Tomorrow, I’m off to watch X-Files, I Want to Believe. And I will tell you about it
