Love-hate rain

I have a love-hate relationship with the rain. I love it because it makes the humid weather go away. I love it because it makes everything feel good, like just curling up on the sofa with a good book. Or indulging in your favorite steaming hot arroz caldo. Or sleeping an extra hour or two can be blamed on the cool weather *lol
But I hate it because it causes flood and ruin in some cities and provinces. Plus, when I need to go out, I always end up getting soaked and with splashes of mud.
Right now, though, I am loving the rain. It’s cool, cozy and my muse just came back *heart
It’s raining like crazy here in Manila right now. We have another typhoon. I believe there will be more coming.

I used to love the rain when I was in college. I would rejoice whenever it was raining. I found it really romantic but now that I’m a mom, I worry about the diseases it brings especially the dreaded dengue.
