We went grocery shopping this afternoon. Do you know that your two thousand pesos can only buy you toiletries as well as a few biscuits and a bag of diapers for the kid? The prices of commodities nowadays are just too high. I am earning above average per month and yet I am still affected by the high costs of commodities. I am wondering now how those who are earning minimum salary and below that on how they are able to make both ends meet.
Even the cost of moving from one place to another (jeepney, taxi and bus fare) has risen. I wonder how we can go on like this…
