Or the Cirque du Soleil!

Gratifying and burdensome

Wednesday, November 19th, 2008

Maintaining several blogs can be both gratifying and burdensome. For one, when you have a regular following already, you tend to exhaust yourself thinking of the next best entry. For another, when you have two blogs that are quite similar, posts tend to overlap.

But it can be gratifying in the sense that when readers tell you how your post touch their hearts, you feel like you have been awarded a very important award. When comments are pouring in, it just tells you that you have written a powerful entry that aroused the readers mind and emotions, enough to compel them to comment. I love that part the most!

So even when there are times I can’t think of anything “brilliant” to write on my other blogs, I still keep it and I don’t get tired thinking of topics to write about.

Business idea

Monday, November 17th, 2008

There was a report last night at the news about different Business Opportunities for those overseas workers going back to the country after being affected by the ongoing global financial crisis. There are a lot of people affected by the crisis that there are people from the private sector encouraging them to get into business without shelling out that much capital. Imagine, one of the businesses being offered is a franchise of popular viands and the initial capital is a little over a thousand bucks. That cheap!

The Fast Food Business is still the most popular business these days. Even if the economy is down, people are still bound to eat when they are out of the house. And instead of eating in expensive restaurants, I am sure most will opt for fast food with cheaper food.

If you are thinking of going into business for whatever reason, either you were also affected by the financial crisis or you have long been wanting to go into business, you might want to get a Texas Franchise at Franchisegator.com. They have several business ideas there that you might find an interest in. Food is still one of the best business ideas there is. Go to Franchisegator.com and start that business you have been wanting for so long.

Running water

Sunday, November 16th, 2008

One of the things I am thankful for in this neighborhood my family and I are living at is the water supply. Unlike other areas, we normally don’t have any problems with water supply. If the supply is limited, we can use our water pump to gather enough water for the whole day. But that is not necessary in ordinary days.

I am writing about this because right now, the water is running here while my sister is washing the dishes. I remember visiting a relative and when you turn on their faucets, no water will flow from it.

So there are days when I can still appreciate this place we’re living in. Of course, that doesn’t discount the fact that our area is still deteriorating day by day.

Holiday food

Sunday, November 16th, 2008

When we went grocery shopping the other day, my sister and I saw the numerous holiday food available already. My mouth watered over some of it. We almost bought that home-made sweet ham but I restrained myself. I am trying to cut down on my food consumption as much as possible, eliminating temptations at home. I will definitely need diet pills after the holidays still. But no need to indulge on holiday food this early. Hard but doable.

Two more godchildren

Sunday, November 16th, 2008

I now have two more new godchildren added to my Christmas list. One is Sophie, my friend Tim’s daughter. Another one is AJ, a cousin’s son. I am still thinking of what to give Sophie. Knowing her mom, I have to give her something really cute! Hahaha! For baby AJ, I might give him a Ju Ju Be diaper bag. Practical and very useful especially since my cousin is shuffling from one house to another.

My baby brother no more

Sunday, November 16th, 2008

My brother is asking me to help him find something in helping him build his body the way he wants it to. James is slim for a guy. But he is well-built especially now he is lifting weights. But he wants to be bulkier like our other male cousins. I am looking at http://store.bodybuildingfactory.com/ now for something that will aid him in this quest for a bulkier build. I know this is caused by the fact that he is more conscious about his body now, him being in college. But there are days I still see him as my little baby brother.

Grow those muscles

Sunday, November 16th, 2008

My brother James is building his muscles. He is exercising regularly, lifting. I remember my high school classmates. I didn’t see them for just one summer and the next school year, they were all muscled up already! It’s like they took 4 ad the whole summer to grow those muscles. A close friend fell in love with a guy friend of mine even more because of it. Hahaha
