I pray that all of us will have a better year this 2009. I pray that all of us…
- will stay healthy and get well from any sickness we are under
- get a job and keep our jobs
- start increasing our savings in the bank
- always have cash in our pockets
- stay out of the path of temptation, whatever that is for each one of us
- give up our vices
- be more mindful of our environment, remember global warming
- be more in touch with our inner selves
- stay on the right path and give up a life of crime
- forgive and forget, reconcile with those we have a rift with most especially if it’s a family member
- be more secure and love ourselves more
- respect each other more
- commune with God (whoever it might be for you) on a regular basis
- and be more truthful to everyone around us
Happy New Year and I sincerely hope that 2009 will be a great year for all of us!

After tomorrow, I believe my sister and I will need corsets to hide the evidence of our indulgence. Hehehe… I think I gained ten pounds this past two weeks alone! Parties left and right. Meet ups with friends day after day. Lots of good food, especially the unhealthy ones… You can just imagine how much food I consumed these past two weeks.
I will give you an update by this weekend about my plans on how I will get rid of the additional pounds.

Our little princess just loves an opportunity to pose in front of the camera. When we went to The Block of SM North Edsa a couple of weeks ago, we saw this huge cardboard images of Disney’s 4 Princesses and Winnie the Pooh and friends. Of course, Hazel dragged us to the images to have her photo taken. Unfortunately, I forgot to bring the digicam thus the poor quality of the photos taken. I only used my cellphone camera…

Our little princess, Hazel, with the 4 Disney Princesses

With Piglet…

and again… she likes anything pink!

This time with Tigger

Hazel with the whole gang… Winnie the Pooh, Piglet and Tigger
She was kinda shy when there were other people already. But she’s all smiles afterwards!

We were baffled by a gift my uncle received from his neighbor. We thought it was something threatening at first. But then I looked it up in the net and it turned out to be a box cutter. We were laughing so hard when we figured out what it was. We thought he was being threatened and all. It turned out the neighbor was actually giving him something he needs. You see, my uncle’s business has something to do with balikbayan boxes. Maybe, his neighbor thought to give him something related to his work.

The little girl was excitedly ripping the gift wrap.

Ate Meng’s gift…

A no-spill bottle for her milk and a cap

Her nyanyang’s and Ate Vi’s gift…

A tea party set and a Dora carriage!
My gift is a pretty little dress that she wore on Christmas day and which I forgot to take a photo of. I will just have to make her wear it again after it is washed
Happy Monday everyone!

My head feels like I just run it to the wall. My insides feels like jelly with needles pricking it. I think my flu is back! Sigh. I have a lot of things to do for today. Finish tasks, have lunch with Kuya Dom, Tita Liza, Tatay and Cherry. Meet up later for dinner with my two friends from my GFX days. Look up POS systems. Do my brother’s Accounting project. Help with the candy wrapping…
Time for some paracetamol and lots of water!

My aunt received one of the Kohler sinks that I like from a family friend. It was really something that I’ve wanted for our kitchen. I will have to save for it and include it in my budget to be able to buy one. It will be really cool to have a brand new kitchen showcase. I also like the ones I see in home makeover shows. When I checked the local ones, it is so expensive it costs an arm and a leg to get the package. Our neighbor could probably do it but that would just have to wait.
