Happy New Year!!!

Wednesday, December 31st, 2008

I pray that all of us will have a better year this 2009. I pray that all of us…

  • will stay healthy and get well from any sickness we are under
  • get a job and keep our jobs
  • start increasing our savings in the bank
  • always have cash in our pockets
  • stay out of the path of temptation, whatever that is for each one of us
  • give up our vices
  • be more mindful of our environment, remember global warming
  • be more in touch with our inner selves
  • stay on the right path and give up a life of crime
  • forgive and forget, reconcile with those we have a rift with most especially if it’s a family member
  • be more secure and love ourselves more
  • respect each other more
  • commune with God (whoever it might be for you) on a regular basis
  • and be more truthful to everyone around us

Happy New Year and I sincerely hope that 2009 will be a great year for all of us!

Two weeks of indulgence

Wednesday, December 31st, 2008

After tomorrow, I believe my sister and I will need corsets to hide the evidence of our indulgence. Hehehe… I think I gained ten pounds this past two weeks alone! Parties left and right. Meet ups with friends day after day. Lots of good food, especially the unhealthy ones… You can just imagine how much food I consumed these past two weeks.

I will give you an update by this weekend about my plans on how I will get rid of the additional pounds.

Hazel and friends

Wednesday, December 31st, 2008

Our little princess just loves an opportunity to pose in front of the camera. When we went to The Block of SM North Edsa a couple of weeks ago, we saw this huge cardboard images of Disney’s 4 Princesses and Winnie the Pooh and friends. Of course, Hazel dragged us to the images to have her photo taken. Unfortunately, I forgot to bring the digicam thus the poor quality of the photos taken. I only used my cellphone camera…

Our little princess, Hazel, with the 4 Disney Princesses

With Piglet…

and again… she likes anything pink! :)

This time with Tigger

Hazel with the whole gang… Winnie the Pooh, Piglet and Tigger ;)

She was kinda shy when there were other people already. But she’s all smiles afterwards!

Baffled

Tuesday, December 30th, 2008

We were baffled by a gift my uncle received from his neighbor. We thought it was something threatening at first. But then I looked it up in the net and it turned out to be a box cutter. We were laughing so hard when we figured out what it was. We thought he was being threatened and all. It turned out the neighbor was actually giving him something he needs. You see, my uncle’s business has something to do with balikbayan boxes. Maybe, his neighbor thought to give him something related to his work.

WS: Opening the gifts

Monday, December 29th, 2008

The little girl was excitedly ripping the gift wrap.

Ate Meng’s gift…

A no-spill bottle for her milk and a cap :)

Her nyanyang’s and Ate Vi’s gift…

A tea party set and a Dora carriage!

My gift is a pretty little dress that she wore on Christmas day and which I forgot to take a photo of. I will just have to make her wear it again after it is washed :)
Happy Monday everyone!

It's coming back!

Sunday, December 28th, 2008

My head feels like I just run it to the wall. My insides feels like jelly with needles pricking it. I think my flu is back! Sigh. I have a lot of things to do for today. Finish tasks, have lunch with Kuya Dom, Tita Liza, Tatay and Cherry. Meet up later for dinner with my two friends from my GFX days. Look up POS systems. Do my brother’s Accounting project. Help with the candy wrapping…

Time for some paracetamol and lots of water!

Kitchen showcase

Sunday, December 28th, 2008

My aunt received one of the Kohler sinks that I like from a family friend. It was really something that I’ve wanted for our kitchen. I will have to save for it and include it in my budget to be able to buy one. It will be really cool to have a brand new kitchen showcase. I also like the ones I see in home makeover shows. When I checked the local ones, it is so expensive it costs an arm and a leg to get the package. Our neighbor could probably do it but that would just have to wait.

Yesterday…

Sunday, December 28th, 2008

My cousin, Yong, left the country yesterday to try his luck abroad. This will be his first time to go out of the country. We are all so worried and would have dropped him off at the airport, all of us in tow. But we opted to just wish him luck and pray for his safety and success abroad. We love Yong so much and we would surely miss him. Proof of how much we love this guy? All of us volunteered to lend him a luggage that he can use. We will miss his wackiness, his techie expertise, and his presence in family gatherings.

How was your Christmas?

Thursday, December 25th, 2008

Ours was simple but it was filled with laughter and joy especially last night when we opened our gifts. And one of the reasons why we are happy… the little girl at home!

Waiting for midnight…

Patience
Patience…

is a virtue.
…is a virtue.

Kulitin muna si kuya James… The two babies in our family. Hazel and my youngest brother James :)

I will be posting the gifts in my Weekend Snapshot entry :) You should see how the little kid’s face lit up when she opened the gifts. That smile alone was enough to make our Christmas eve happy.

So how was yours? Merry Christmas again!

Safe and effective

Thursday, December 25th, 2008

Are you looking for safe diet pills like me? I have always been on the heavy side and I am not denying it. In fact, I am fully aware of everything that is happening in my body. In the beginning of this year, I actually made a promise to myself that before my 30th birthday last August 3, I would finally trim down and be near my ideal weight at the very least. Unfortunately, things happened and temptation won out. Right now, I am the same as my weight at the beginning of the year. Probably a little bit more. Sigh.

I am looking for safe and effective diet pills which I can utilize to help me in this quest to lose weight. Good thing that I found Lab888.com which is a web site that gives out information on safe and effective diet pills like Hoodia and Metabo. It might just be the information I need to be able to start losing weight once and for all. I will be going back to the gym by next month.

Go to Lab888.com now and be informed about these safe diet pills. This coming year is the year to live healthy. So start gathering information now and check out Lab888.com right away!
