Going back soon…
Worried again. Income is going down. My mind is thoroughly averse to the idea of going back to the corporate world but I don’t know if I can postpone it anymore. I am scouting for one. I found three.
You know what, if there is something I am confident about, it is my ability to get a decent job. I can do it. In fact, I know I won’t be starting from scratch again. The kind of profession I have does not necessarily mean that when you are out of the circulation for years (two in my case), you will start out as an entry-level worker again. You just have to update yourself with the latest in the rules and regulations and then you are good to go.
I just hope I find a job where I can grow as a person as well.

Hi, Sasha!
It is a good thing that you have that education. I know that you would be able to succeed and be on top. You are blessed because you have a good heart.
I pray that you would be able to choose from those three .
Take care!

@Anna… Uy touched ako sa sinabi mo. Thanks for your kind words. Yes, having the kind of education I had makes me blessed talaga. I can just turn it on and off, yung alam ko sa accounting and it stays there. Nakakatuwa nga eh
Take care as well!

@Cherry… Hehe thanks! I was just lucky because I started at a BPO, general accounting ang tinuro sa akin. Eh most companies naman use general accounting kaya pwede ako dun. Sana nga makakita ako ng ok na company

Sasha, sabi rin ng iba talagang mahina na ang paid blogging ngayon dahil marami na kasing bloggers that means marami ng kalaban sa mga opps.
Ibig sabihin you can can come back sa corporate anytime?
Goog luck and I hope you can make a good decision and the right choice of job.

@Raquel… Mahina na talaga, manay. Remember I started blogging almost 2 yrs ago pa. And back then, you wouldn’t believe how many tasks I get in a day. Ngayon matumal. Saka yung mga small clients ko (bookkeeping) are no longer requiring my services. Nagcost-cutting na rin. Nagpaturo na lang sa akin how they can do it on their own.
Yes, I can go back anytime I want. Maga-apply pa. Pero I’m not saying na ganon kabilis. Yung level ko lang kasi mabilis na makabalik kung gusto ko. Kasi I left the corporate world naman holding a managerial position na.
Katakot talaga ang daming nawawalan ng trabaho. DOLE is predicting nga a 40K jobs lost this year alone dito sa Pinas.
Thanks! I will pray about it and hopefully, will come to the right decision very soon

Hi Ate Sha. Mahirap talaga ngayon ang buhay. Lahat affected sa crisis. Kapag nawalan ka ng work, marami ka namang kaagaw sa mga vacant jobs dyan.
Tama yan, maging confident ka lang. I’ll pray for you na sana makakuha ka na ng work sa corporate world. Goodluck po.
