Rhinoplasty is very common these days. Gone are those days when you cringe at the thought of someone undergoing rhinoplasty. These days, it is like buying something from the drugstore to remedy your skin breakout.
But of course, you have to make sure that you are getting this procedure from the medical experts. You should know that you have an option to get Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty or an Ethnic Rhinoplasty and not just the traditional one. A local celebrity lost her great voice because of a botched operation. It was not publicized immediately, the celebrity doing everything to regain her lost voice. But it was apparent when she held a concert a few months after the rhinoplasty. The once magical voice became throaty, too far from the voice that so many critics had praised. And then she told the truth about her botched operation.
So to be sure that everything will go smoothly for you, go to Rhinoplasty.net and seek the help of the experts!

I was reading a really good novel a couple of days ago. The scene was a snowstorm and you can feel how cold it was in that scene. The girl was huddled in a corner, shivering, feeling the cold seeping into her bones… I thought I might need an electric blanket just by reading that scene!
Some authors are really good in describing a scene. You can feel it yourself, like as if you are there in the book. Those are the novels that I think are truly great

Hazel is growing up a kikay! Remember I’ve written several times here that she loves High School Musical, Camp Rock and everything Jonas Brothers? Well, the little girl is expanding her likes. She now notices other things. Like the UGG boots that Demi Lovato wore in Camp Rock. The hairstyles of the Disney girls. The screaming fans of the Jonas Brothers. And even dresses she see! The little girl is growing up. Sooner or later, she’ll be one of those screaming fans watching the Disney teens perform on stage. Sigh.

I love soft lighting. That’s why lamps are a must at home. Whenever I feel like relaxing, I turn off the overhead light and turn on the table lamps. The soft glow helps create a relaxing ambiance as well as a cozy feeling at home. I especially love doing this at my corner where my computer equipment are.
I remember last year when a friend visited me at home and saw that my corner had poor lighting. She suggested a task lamp from Farreys.com, the same task lamp that she has in the office. I love it! When I saw it, I just know it will be perfect for my home-office desk.
If you want one for your home desk or office table, go to Farreys.com now and check out the task lamps that they have there. You can also find desk lamps at Farreys that will also be as perfect as the task lamp for your desk.

It’s weekend once again! Time for some much needed R&R for all of us. Tomorrow, I might be going to the mall to watch a movie with Hazel and my sister and to check out some led lighting. I didn’t go out the whole week except for Ash Wednesday. The heat is unbearable in the morning until mid-afternoon! As much as possible, I stay indoors and put the electric fan on steady, directly to me, of course

I haven’t posted a Blogger Inspired entry in months. The last time I posted one was in July of last year.
Anyway, I am a subscriber of a blog called Marc and Angel Hack Life. I love this blog so much! Their entry for yesterday is entitled How to Make All the Difference in the World. The entry is about an old woman who scrubs the shells of a couple of turtles to help them swim better. Marc sees the old woman doing this every Sunday when he jogs around the area. He asked the old woman what difference it makes that she helps a couple of turtles when “99% of these turtles don’t have kind people like you to help them clean off their shells.” According to the old woman, “Sweetie, if this little guy could talk, he’d tell you I just made all the difference in the world.”
The entry just made me think of my dad…
My dad loves helping other people. No matter if he doesn’t get anything in return. A simple thank you would suffice. What he wants to see is for our neighbors to rise above their stations in life. Just this past couple of days, he’s been helping a number of jobless men in our little area get legitimate jobs abroad through my aunt (his sister) who has a recruitment agency. Two will be leaving before March ends. Four more will be following suit.

You see, you never know that the difference you make in a person’s life could spell the whole world to him. It can be the start of something big. For that person, you just made all the difference in the world. A difference need not be something grand. It need not be something that can affect a hundred people in one fell swoop. It can be a simple gesture to someone.
Make a difference in your own simple way. I hope I am making a difference in other people’s lives, too.

I am not much into contests but once in a while I see one that catches my attention and excites me enough to look into it and join. I learned that The Blogger’s Guide is looking for the best city blogs. I am interested not only to enter but also to check out the other blogs that will be joining as well.
If you don’t know yet, The Blogger’s Guide has launched a travel blogging competition that started last January 20 and will end on March 16th. There is still plenty of time to enter for those who are interested to join. For those interested, all you need is a blog of your own that talks about city life. If you don’t have a blog of your own yet, better create one now. Just a reminder, they won’t be accepting blogs from paid bloggers. The posts in your blog will be checked by the web site’s editors and those entries that will be useful for tourists and expats will most likely be the ones that will be approved and awarded points.
6 Regional Winners and 1 Top Winner will be chosen. The top winner will receive travel prize worth $2,500.00 plus many more!
The Blogger’s Guide’s travel blogging competition is sponsored by Hotels.com. Go to TheBloggersGuide.com now for more information.

- When I am bursting with energy, I end up doing less than what I intend to do. I either get sooo sleepy because I cannot channel the excess energy or I end up annoying the hell out of my siblings. Last night I was trying to finish a write-up. For some reason, when I am consciously doing a write-up, I end up not being able to write about it even more. I am hoping to finish today and I should, otherwise it will cost me some big bucks.
- It’ll be 11 years since my brother died on March 11. He would have been 26 last February 21st. I was talking to a cousin, the one closest to my dead brother and the same age as him, on what he would be now if he is still alive. Will he be married by now? Or an engineer already like what he was planning to become? Course, we will never know. There are days when I still think what a waste that my brother died so young. He was only 15. We were closest. I know that if he’s still with us, our youngest won’t be as difficult to deal with than he is now. He’d be the one to be able to control him. And my dad will probably be happier than he is now. He’s mighty proud of that brother of mine and you just know he loved him more than anyone of us.
- Oh, I just lost my PR here. From 3 to 0. I guess it’s bound to happen with a fickleminded G handing out this rankings. Fortunately for me, when this happened, I got two blessings that overshadowed the slap hehehe
- Hazel is sick right now. She has a fever and her dad gave her a bath the other day even though my dad told him that Hazel had high fever. Now she’s more sick than ever because besides the flu, she now has clogged nose. Sigh.
- I get so sleepy all the time. I am a bit addicted to this book series I am reading at the moment. I am almost through with Book 3 and will be starting the last book tonight. After this, I have 3 more books waiting for my attention. However busy I am or tired, I always manage to read a chapter or two every day. When the book is a page turner, expect me to read a couple of chapters before I close my eyes. And that would mean being sleepy in the morning. Worth it, though
That’s all for now. Happy Tuesday everyone!
