Good versus Evil
One of my most favorite songs in this world is Everything by Lifehouse. When I have some tasks to finish at night, I open my YouTube account and choose videos of songs I like. For some time now, I have been noticing this video of Everything that instead of the video from the band itself, it has a skit about good versus evil. You can see it below…
My favorite song was interpreted differently! I love this skit. Very inspirational. No wonder this skit was performed in churches in the US. You better watch it if you have time. For a good dose of inspiration for those who are wavering in their faith.
The video will make you feel His presence once more. You know, we always give priority to our lovelives, money, vanity, vices. We forget that we also need to say thanks to Someone who guides us every step of the way. This video will remind us that He is just there, behind all our priorities, waiting for us to acknowledge Him, even every now and then.
I am also posting the complete lyrics of Everything (after the jump) so you can read the whole song while watching the video.
Find me here and speak to me
I want to feel you, I need to hear you
You are the light that’s leading me to the place
Where I find peace again
You are the strength that keeps me walking
You are the hope that keeps me trusting
You are the light to my soul
You are my purpose
You’re everything
And how can I stand here with you and not be moved by you
Would you tell me how could it be any better than this
You calm the storms and you give me rest
You hold me in your hands, You won’t let me fall
You steal my heart when you take my breath away
Would you take me in take me deeper now
And how can I stand here with you and not be moved by you
Would you tell me how could it be any better than this
Cause you’re all I want, you’re all I need
You’re everything, everything
Would you tell me how could it be any better than this…
Love this song! And now it has a new meaning to me. I hope this post inspired you to say a simple thanks to Him

hey sasha! thank you so much for your message (the comment you left on my last post). it really warms the heart.
i was actually thinking of turning my blog into a food blog. i even changed my Entrecard category from ‘personal diary’ to ‘cooking and dining’. i just don’t know if i should change the title of my blog, i’m not sure if people will be able to find me if i do that. i don’t want to build reader- and viewership from scratch either, so i don’t want to create a new blog and let this current one go to waste. and i’m concerned with the links i’ve traded with so many blogs, if i change my title, will those links automatically change (of course my address will remain the same) or will it create confusion if someone clicked on it only to find a differently titled blog.

Cool, this is one of my all time favourite songs too! When I first heard it I was thinking of a girl. The girl I thought I was going to spend the rest of my life with. But after 6 years together, we broke up. One of my professors told me that it was because God is a jealous God and I may have idolized her too much, so He took her away…. that made me laugh. I have since realized that this love song can never and should never have been applied to any other human being in my life. When you fall in love with God, it’s hard for a regular human being to compete though. But I’ll just trust in the big plan, whatever it is, because breaking up with God was like death.
We posted this around the same time! Cheers Sasha

@Angelo… I have heard about this somewhere. But I don’t believe that. I think that there are persons who come into our life for a season and for a reason. I guess she was a person whom God used to make you realize something or come up with a decision. Katuwa talagang we posted around the same time ano?
Keep the faith!
