I love learning new things. Especially those that I can use in my online business. I am always on the lookout for tools that can make my online life easier. Like a website builder. I am not much into contests but once in a while I see one that catches my attention and excites me enough to look into it and join. I learned that The Blogger’s Guide is looking for the best city blogs. I am interested not only to enter but also to check out the other blogs that will be joining as well.
If you don’t know yet, The Blogger’s Guide has launched a travel blogging competition that started last January 20 and will end on March 16th. There is still plenty of time to enter for those who are interested to join. For those interested, all you need is a blog of your own that talks about city life. - When I am bursting with energy, I end up doing less than what I intend to do. I either get sooo sleepy because I cannot channel the excess energy or I end up annoying the hell out of my siblings. Last night I was trying to finish a write-up. For some reason, when I am consciously doing a write-up, I end up not being able to write about it even more. I am hoping to finish today and I should, otherwise it will cost me some big bucks.
- It’ll be 11 years since my brother died on March 11. He would have been 26 last February 21st. I was talking to a cousin, the one closest to my dead brother and the same age as him, on what he would be now if he is still alive. Will he be married by now? Or an engineer already like what he was planning to become? Course, we will never know. There are days when I still think what a waste that my brother died so young. He was only 15. We were closest. I know that if he’s still with us, our youngest won’t be as difficult to deal with than he is now. He’d be the one to be able to control him. And my dad will probably be happier than he is now. He’s mighty proud of that brother of mine and you just know he loved him more than anyone of us.
- Oh, I just lost my PR here. From 3 to 0. I guess it’s bound to happen with a fickleminded G handing out this rankings. Fortunately for me, when this happened, I got two blessings that overshadowed the slap hehehe
- Hazel is sick right now. She has a fever and her dad gave her a bath the other day even though my dad told him that Hazel had high fever. Now she’s more sick than ever because besides the flu, she now has clogged nose. Sigh.
- I get so sleepy all the time. I am a bit addicted to this book series I am reading at the moment. I am almost through with Book 3 and will be starting the last book tonight. After this, I have 3 more books waiting for my attention. However busy I am or tired, I always manage to read a chapter or two every day. When the book is a page turner, expect me to read a couple of chapters before I close my eyes. And that would mean being sleepy in the morning. Worth it, though

Have you been called by a local hotel to tell you that you are selected for a free hotel night in any of their hotel branches? I have been contacted several times by a local hotel to go to their office to get my certificate. I decline these offers. Always. I just feel like it’s a scam of some sort. Because you know, when you ask them how they got my number, they would just tell me someone referred me to them. When you ask them who it is, they won’t tell you who. Why??? Fishy, don’t you think?

I admit that I need a reminder from time to time. You know, just a little something to jolt me into action. I do tend to be a bit lazy on slow days (which is almost every other day for me hehe) and it would drag on and on. And then something comes up that will remind me to go back on track. Kakahiya but that’s me 
The past week was a blessing to me really. I needed something to inspire me and then it came out of nowhere. Little things bring inspiration to us, we are just too busy to notice it at times. Good thing I was paying attention so I didn’t miss it.

I will tell you a secret dream I have… to become an IT support! 
When I told a close friend of mine about this dream I have, she was not surprised anymore. She knew how much I love helping others solve technical problems. Of course, I will be the first one to tell you that I am no expert. I graduated with a degree in Accountancy. I only know what I learned through trial and error and from the research I do. Help desk is what those close to me call me.
But for those who are really interested in putting up a customer support in their web sites, manned by someone who is a technically competent person, there is a Help desk software that you can use.
