If there is one person in this world who would like to rival former First Lady Imelda Marcos, that would be my sister’s friend, Abby. My sister was over in her new condo unit near the metrorail and she said that the unit has more shoes in it than anything else. It’s supposed to be a 2-bedroom unit but since the other room was made into a walk-in closet, half of which is filled with hundreds of pairs of shoes, it seemed smaller than it actually is. According to my sister, she found so many brands and kinds of shoes there, including Dansko shoes and clogs, than she’s ever seen in her entire shopping life. Imeldific!
I cannot imagine having that many shoes. Personally, I find it impractical to have so many shoes some of which you can’t even use. I also have this habit of wearing the same pair again and again until it becomes so worn I have no choice left but to throw it away.
