It’s now summer here in the Philippines. You can feel the scorching heat. For the whole family, Ash Wednesday signals the start of summer. Last year, we were not able to go to the beach for one reason or another. This time around, nothing will stop me from going to the beach! 
I need to have some sun on me. I’m stuck here at home most of the time. There were weeks that I just went out to go to the church. Plus, I wake up late most of the time. So even if I can just go out and let the rays of the sun hit my skin, it wouldn’t be the good rays anymore. And have you noticed that the sun at the beach is different? Or is it just me longing for the beach? Hahaha! I also want to feel the sand under my feet…
I can already imagine the beach, the water, the sand, a good book and my buko juice…

I am not a shopaholic but when it comes to women’s lingerie, I can go gaga when you let me loose. Actually, it’s books, gadgets and women’s lingerie. I also have a friend who can spend so much in books but is really a tightwad.
My sister was the one who introduced me to the world of gorgeous lingerie. And I must admit that I got hooked ever since. A box of the choice undies arrived from a friend abroad. I asked her to buy it for me and she did.

I am sorry for not updating the past few days. I am just uber busy with so many things.
I am taking care of something offline for my brother. He is thinking of shifting to a 2-year course. I don’t know why he’s suddenly so practical. Probably envious of our cousin (the one he considers his kuya) who’s earning so much abroad. And we’re also planning on opening a business once he graduates. I think he’s taking all that into consideration. I must admit I am relieved. Information Technology is just sooo expensive! Yes, I want him to graduate with a degree. But if he himself does not want that… I’m afraid that if I insist, he’ll just fight it more. So we are off looking for a new course for him. Sigh.
This morning, my uncle’s wife went here to chat with me. They are having problems with their finances. We are really close to my uncle’s family. And I am so sorry that I cannot help them the way I wanted to. I can just pray that things will turn out fine for them soon.
I will post more updates tomorrow…
