What life is all about…

Thursday, April 30th, 2009

Life is not about keeping score
It is not about how many friends you have
It is not about if you have plans this weekend or if you are alone.
It isn’t about who you are dating, who you used to date, how many people you’ve dated, or if you haven’t been with anyone at all.
It’s not about who your family is, or how much money they have.
Or what kind of car you drive.
It is not about where you went to school. Or whether you rub shoulders with the rich and famous
It not about how beautiful or how ugly you are.
Or what clothes you wear, what shoes you have on, or what kind of music you listen to..
It is not about if your hair is blonde, red, black or brown,
Or if your skin is too light or too dark..
It is not about what grades you get or how smart standardized tests say you are.
It’s not about what clubs you’re in, or smoking cigars and sipping cognac
It is not about how good you are at your sport.

LIFE JUST ISN’T.

But.. Life is about being real and not being fake
Life is about dignity and respect
It is about who you love and who you hurt.
It is about who you make happy or unhappy…intentionally.
It’s about keeping and betraying trust and fighting for justice
It is about courage to stand up against and not turn a blind eye to human evil
It’s about friendship, used as something holy or as a weapon.
It about what you say and mean may be hurtful, maybe heartening.
It’s about starting rumours and contributing to petty gossip.
It’s about what judgements you pass and why..
And who your judgements are spread to.
It’s about who you’ve ignored with full control and intention.
It about cowardice, jealousy, fear, ignorance, and revenge.
It’s about carrying inner hate or love.
It is about letting it grow or spreading it.
But, most of all, it is about using your life to touch or poison other people’s hearts in such a way that never
could have occurred alone.
Only YOU choose the way those hearts are affected…

And THOSE choices are… WHAT LIFE IS ALL ABOUT!

Expose that annoying caller

Wednesday, April 29th, 2009

A friend of mine is getting annoyed about a certain caller who loves to play prank in the middle of the night. They reported the number already but for some reason, the caller loves to keep annoying them. She found a great tool to expose the person behind the prank caller number. Caller Wiki. This is a service intended for those who would like to reveal and get back to prank callers who annoy the living daylights out of you.

So how does the system works? All you have to do is key in the number of the prank caller. Then start your search. It will give you the details corresponding to the number you keyed in. Caller Complaints will be listed as well as the possible scam the caller has been known for. Go ahead and expose that caller!

If you can, Report Callers who will only dupe people. You can do so using CallerWiki.net’s service. Check out the web site for more information.

balara

We went swimming again. From eight in the morning until three in the afternoon. Right now, I feel as if my whole body was used as a punching bag. Every joint is aching. I feel like I am shaking inside. The water was so cold. I probably had too much of it. Sigh.

But it’s worth it. Had so much fun with the relatives :D

WS: Bagac, Bataan

Sunday, April 26th, 2009

When my uncle told us about his experience at Bagac, Bataan, I immediately asked my dad if he wanted to go there. I always base our next destination to a place where my dad has never been to. And he said yes to Bataan. It was our plan to go to Laiya, Batangas but then off to Bataan we went instead.

Let me share with you some photos I took…

My baby ready to swim!

But then, we saw the big waves so we opted to just…

enjoying
Goof around :P

Did you notice I was wearing my eyeglasses? I wanted to see the view and enjoy the surroundings so I opted to wear it while I was sitting by the shore. All of a sudden one big wave slapped me on the face. It would have been hilarious if it didn’t take my eyeglasses with it! That was Saturday morning, before 9AM :( Needless to say, I was almost blind as a bat at night. But then I realized it might have happened for me to truly relax. Imagine not seeing anything at night except those at least a foot away from your face hehe

This was the cottage that we rented.

And the beautiful view from the cottage’s veranda.

We were near the shore so we could hear the waves while lounging around. All in all, our two-day getaway to Bagac, Bataan was truly a memorable experience for all of us.

Have a wonderful week everyone!

There are places here on earth that is more conducive to romance than the normal tourist destinations. The Caribbean is one of the places where so many newly-wedded couples go to for their honeymoon. Or those who are celebrating their wedding anniversaries. I know that if only my friend and her husband can afford to go on caribbean holidays, they would go in a heartbeat.

The Caribbean is, of course, best known for their white sand beaches, clear blue waters, and the great places to stay at. Many weddings and getaways are held in this place. I love watching reality shows. If you do as well, you might know Married Away. This reality show is about couples getting married in places away from their hometown. I’ve watched so many couples already who got married at the Caribbean. The place looks like a piece of heaven on earth!

One of the bosses in my former office always go on antigua holidays with her family. She came from an affluent family so going on vacations at exotic and beautiful places is not a problem with them. I remember her regaling us with stories about the different places she’s been to. And it were interesting, to tell the truth.

If you are interested in going on vacation holidays like barbados holidays or those that I mentioned, or probably hold your wedding there or your honeymoon, go to Caribbean.LetsGo2.com now and book a holiday in the destination that you want. You can book everything in their web site. It’s fast and easy! Go to their web site now and choose your destination, your departure date, duration, number of persons, hotel and airline cabin class. You will be guided easily. This process will help you save on your Caribbean holiday.

Presence of mind

Sunday, April 26th, 2009

A popular mall in the city caught fire yesterday afternoon. Fortunately, every one got out and no one was hurt. According to news reports, the fire started at a Japanese restaurant’s kitchen. And was contained in that area alone. Smoke got out and that panicked some people who saw the black smoke coming from the kitchen. Alarm was sounded and every one was asked to go out calmly. A store employee got out with the store’s cash drawer. She was one of those interviewed and I really admired her presence of mind.

Two MP3 players that my cousins brought with them last weekend went missing. They were drunk already and the last they saw their MP3 players was on the table. When I was waking them up around 3AM, they were looking for their players. But both were missing already. Too bad they did not think of protecting their things. The part of the cottage below were they fell asleep was open. Someone probably took it already. Thank goodness only the inexpensive players were taken and nothing else.
