Useful at home
Uncle Eli is a very practical man. He knows so many things that he dabbles in being in the plumber and electrician careers. Their house is a product of his hard labor. He knows carpentry as well! He did portion per portion of their home to what it become now. I love their house! I just know that it will last a long time because blood, sweat and tears are the foundation of that beautiful house.
My Uncle Eli did not go to any fancy electrician schools but he knows his way around. He’s been a practicing electrician for more than a decade now. He actually did all the wiring not just in their house but also in almost all the relatives’ houses, that includes ours. And the plumbing and other technical wirings. We call him even when we need to have the refrigerator, oven or the television repaired. He’s really good at what he does the only thing missing is an electrician certification that he can present to everyone!
I am telling the men in the family, on my father’s side, that they should also acquire skills that can be useful at home. Just like what my Uncle Eli knows.
