Happy birthday, Tim! =)

There are only two persons in this world who can truly understand what I went (and still going through from time to time) in life: that’s Jo and Tim. I mean, I know there are people out there who are in the same predicament as mine but then we don’t know each other. They don’t know the details of my life. Jo and Tim know.

Tim has been my friend since second year high school. I think I know most of what’s happening in her life since then, even the bad ones. And she knows everything that’s going on with my life as well. That includes the bad relationships, sibling squabbles, the parents situation, work raves and rants, and everything in between. When she hears that something’s wrong with me, she calls right away and asks about it. Not to meddle. But I know that she’s thinking I might need someone to talk to. I don’t often tell her this but I appreciate all the calls and messages. I don’t tell my sisters about my problems. I always have to be the strong one in the family. I am just thankful that I have a best friend with whom I can share things with.

I am thankful for having Tim as a friend. When you hear us talk, you might think that we don’t like each other. Maingay kasi kami hehe! Sarcastic mag-usap and parang galit. In reality, we know each other so well that we are confident that we won’t get into a fight even when we speak our minds. Di ba dapat ganon naman ang best friend? You are not afraid to be who you are in front of her? You need not pretend to be someone else? That’s how we are with each other.

Tim is Fatima Ng offline. And she’s one of the best friends one can have! I am really lucky! Happy birthday, sis! (Today, April 8) May the Lord grant your heart’s desires. I pray for your good health, a complete family always, and lots of shopping money! Love you, sis! Mwah!
