Get a bundle, save big!

Thursday, May 28th, 2009

I love bundle services! Right now, my internet connection (DSL) and my landline phone are bundled into one. This way, I get to save some money out of the landline service because it’s free when I got the DSL plan. This is very similar to the verizon deals my friend, Lynn, is talking about. Get this, bundle phone, internet and tv and you will save some serious bucks! These days, being wise in your financial decisions can get you a long way.

I checked the deals and verizon offers unlimited local and long distance calls, high-speed internet, 250 channels on their satellite tv. These three services, when you get in a bundle, will only cost you $30.02 per month!

When subscribed to per package, here’s how much it will cost you. For the phone service packages and deals, unlimited local calling starts at $14.10 per month. High-speed internet service starts at $19.99/mo with your first month FREE! Just imagine, with these two services alone, you will already incur $34.09! Of course, if you are getting only one service, that would be fine as well. But if you are keen on having all three, better get the verizon bundles!

For more information on these Verizon Deals or if you are ready to order your Verizon Bundle now, just call 1-866-921-0769. Remember the promo code: 12754. Be wise. Order the bundle now and save big!

Should I?

Tuesday, May 26th, 2009

It’s unbearably hot these days. Doubly hot for me because I am obviously overweight. I sweat a lot. To remedy the heat and to avoid sweating so much, I take a bath at least three times a day and have a big electric fan all to myself. But my family told me this… I should get off my butt, log off the computer even for an hour and take advantage of the heat. Exercise and sweat! Take Atrophex for crying out loud! Lose weight so that I will have more energy to walk around the house and not be sitting in my corner all day long.

They’re right, of course! :P

I am OC!

Tuesday, May 26th, 2009

I am an obsessive-compulsive person. Whenever we go out of the house, like on vacation, I make sure I am bringing along my laptop and external hard drive, my digicam and sd flash memory, my cellphone and a charger and an extra cellphone battery. I want to make sure that I won’t be having any problem storing files, photos and my cellphone is always turned on. It’s something I got from one of my bosses when I was still in a call center company.

Tough girl

Tuesday, May 26th, 2009

One of my closest friends is Shen. We’ve been friends for almost two decades now. She is pregnant at the moment and I am jotting down baby shower ideas for her. If there is one person in this world that needs happiness, it’s her. She’s been through a lot, including this pregnancy. But she’s a tough girl and I know that she has surpassed and will continue surpassing all the trials she’ll meet along the way.

My sister the teacher

Tuesday, May 26th, 2009

My sister is a teacher and she is now getting ready for the start of another school year on June 8th. She just got the custom rubber stamps that she had made. It will serve as a grading stamp or something. I am proud when I look at my sister. She is the youngest among the girls, second to the last. She’s actually living the life I have dreamt for myself. And I see that she’s happy with the way her life is going right now.

For baby Lottie

Hazel’s sister is an adorable baby! She smiles and giggles in her little baby way and it lightens up everyone’s day. A friend is offering a baby jogger stroller to me and I am thinking of buying it for little Lottie. I might give it on her birthday. I didn’t know how much I love kids until Hazel came in our lives. And now it’s Lottie. Kids can really make your day. Hazel and Lottie do!

Desk and shelf in one

Tuesday, May 26th, 2009

I just came from the big supermarket near our residence. There is a sale of office furniture and I am once again tempted to buy a new desk. What stopped me was the look I got from my sister. She reminded me that I already have a desk at home and that it’s still working just fine for me. The one that I saw has a shelf in front of the desk. And it made me think of the new books that I have. Sigh. I am easily lured into buying anything that has to do with books. Lucky for me I have a sister who keeps on reminding me to stop and make sure I really need the item I will be buying before I shell out my hard earned cash.

Same mistakes

Monday, May 25th, 2009

I hate being on uncertain terms. I wish I could be that confident about things again. It just pains me to acknowledge the fact that I am back once again from whence I came from. I never learned! I made these same mistakes in the past and I never learned from it. I should have taken heed of my aunt’s advices…

I am hoping I will be given another shot at it. Just one more so I can prove that this time, I already know.

A PMP certification

Sunday, May 24th, 2009

With the recession still going on around the world, so many job seekers are competing for each and every job opening there is. So I was surprised when my friend told me that he resigned from his job and got another offer right away. Imagine that! He told me that his PMP training is the advantage he has over other job seekers like him.

I remember what the Human Resources Director of a previous company I’ve been with said about advantages in job seeking. Trainings, certifications, seminars and conventions attended that are all related to your profession will play a big role in seeking a new job. Especially now that there is a global financial crisis around the world and many workers are being cut off from their jobs. For those who want to have an advantage over other job seekers, why not get an online PMP certification like my friend. Know more on on topics like Leadership, Management, Communications, Team Building, Outsourcing, Risk Management and Six Sigma. Very much useful for a career in a call center company.

Go ahead and check out how you can go on an online PMP training at PointAdvantage.com now. And get that edge over others. Get promoted. Get hired fast! Check out the web site now for more information.

Today's random thoughts

Note: No wonder nobody’s leaving a comment. User must be logged in was checked for some reason in my Discussions Settings. I’ve unchecked that now :)

I haven’t been updating this blog. Sorry about that. It seems I only post updates on weekends. Well, it’s weekend here in the Philippines again. Therefore, another update. Please bear with my random thoughts :)
I was busy with so many things that’s why I hardly update this blog and some of the others I have. If I am not busy, tinatamad naman! Hehe! Anyway, not much new in my life. Same old, same old. Laging inaantok pa rin! Although I try to do as much as I can when I am awake. I stopped drinking coffee again because of hyperacidity. Kaya less na naman ang aking energy. Coffee really wakes me up. Hot choco muna for now.

As usual, filled with worries for the future na naman ako. Can’t help it. I always tell my sister nga that if I am only thinking of myself, I would not worry like this. I can live on meager income. But then I have mouths to feed kaya worried na naman ako. Hay.

I got angry with Hazel last night. I shouted at her. And when she cried, I wanted to bawl as well. I get angry easily. Tapos when I do something while angry, I get guilty over it after. When I am so angry pa naman, I raise my voice. I am impatient by nature. And this causes my angry outbursts.

I miss being on the go. I’ve only experienced this when I was still employed at S. before. Yung walang halos tulog and 24 hours is not enough to finish all the work. I don’t miss the rush hour and the stress. Or the bitchy bosses. I miss the work, though. Basta.

Before I end this post, I’ll share a photo of Hazel wearing her Vigan shirt, given to her by my sis…

ninin-vigan
The shirt reads… Someone who loves me got me this shirt from Vigan.

Happy weekend everyone!
:)

Things you need in trade show displays

Thursday, May 21st, 2009

I have attended and participated in a number of trade shows here in the country. Two of the previous companies I’ve been with participated in trade shows as well. I can say that when it comes to trade show displays, I have handled it before.

If you are looking for materials to be used for a trade show, you can go to Power Graphics, a web site that offers trade show displays, banner stands and so much more. All these manner of advertising and promotions can be used in a trade show. Or even in marketing campaigns. When I was still in a call center company, there was several recruitment campaigns done. We had banner stands at the recruitment sites and it helped drive the number of applicants to the place.

Banner stands, tarpaulins, canvas prints and other forms of promotional materials can help announce a new product, a launch of a new brand, recruitment campaign like we did in the past, and so many others that needed promotions. If you are looking for a vendor for these types of materials and services, like canvas printing, go to Power-Graphics.com and get the right displays and banners you need. Visit the site now and know more about what they offer.
