WS: Aloha!

Sunday, June 14th, 2009

alohaninin

Our little girl being her usual cute self hehe

Hazel is supposed to start school on Monday, June 15. But we decided against it because of the A(N1H1) scare. She’s only three anyway and has lots of time to catch up if ever. We are opting to teach her at home for now and postpone going to school until next school year.

Better safe than sorry.

Have a great week! For all the college students starting classes tomorrow, keep safe and good luck!

Every opportunity

Sunday, June 14th, 2009

Every avenue of opportunity that my friend and I can get our hands on, we grab it. As long as we can do it, we wouldn’t hesitate to take advantage of the opportunity presented to us. She got a wonderful call from an old mentor in her business class in college. She was being asked to join a group who will be taught a fresh batch of franchise opportunities. One of which she’s very much interested in. It involves pressure washers and the business of vacuum cleaning. I am not yet aware of the full details but if and when I find it a good venture, I just might join them.

Today…

Thursday, June 11th, 2009

I woke up feeling disoriented again. I know it has something to do with the new schedule I am keeping. I woke up this morning before 11AM thinking that it’s Tuesday. Do you know that it’s only now that I realized it’s already Thursday? Sigh.

Anyway, I owe so many people an apology. Tim, for forgetting I was supposed to go to their house yesterday. Tita Liza, for the request I’m supposed to email yesterday as well (emailing now). Cherry, for not replying to her email right away. And to the people at home because I am always cranky in the morning.

Okay, off to do some more tasks. And then I will turn in earlier than usual so I can read even one chapter of Angels & Demons. I am re-reading it because I really can’t remember the whole story anymore. When I was watching the movie with Tim, I kept on asking her about certain scenes. Now, it’s all coming back to me.

Happy Thursday!

Chelation therapy for the heart

Wednesday, June 10th, 2009

My paternal side of the family is prone to heart diseases. My grandfather has a heart problem, same with my aunt, my dad’s youngest brother, and my dad as well. My dad almost suffered a full-blown stroke a few years ago. He didn’t tell us about it until after a month or so. My mom just passed away that time and it might have something to do with it.

My aunt was telling me about chelation therapy when we saw each other a week ago. A co-worker mentioned it to her. This cardio therapy is designed to cleanse the veins and arteries of a person. When clogged, these veins and arteries malfunction, causing heart problems.

  • Limbs that “go to sleep”
  • Aches and pains from short walks
  • Breathlessness on slight exertion
  • Sluggishness all the time when you were previously an energetic person

And many more…

If you are feeling these symptoms, it is time for you to have your heart checked. We only have one heart. If we don’t take care of it properly, chances are, we will regret it in the end.

Try oral chelation therapy from Cardio Renew. This is the fast and most economical way to cleanse your veins and arteries from blockages. Prevention is better than cure, remember? Go to CardioRenew.com now and know more about what they offer.

Three women and me

Sunday, June 7th, 2009

I’ve been taking care of three old women: my grandmother, and two grand-aunts. The latter are both spinsters. I grew up with these three women. They have been good to me, giving me everything I wanted when I was a kid. For that, I will forever be grateful to them. Taking care of them now is my own little way of saying thanks to the great memories of my childhood. My grandma is now bedridden. My grand-aunts are becoming weak each passing day. A friend told me to get them Medicare supplement plan and I am checking on it. Anything that will aid their remaining years here on earth, anything that is within my capacity, I will try to give them. It would have been my mom’s wish as well for them to live in relative comfort for the rest of their lives.

Back to school

Sunday, June 7th, 2009

It will be back to school for my sister who teaches special education. Tomorrow is the start of the classes in their school and she’s actually preparing herself to the big adjustment. During summer vacation, she got used to staying up quite late and waking up before noon. She blogs just like me and would usually keep me company late at night.

Thank goodness I work at home. I hate the feeling of forcing myself to wake up really early to go to work. I’ve been in that situation so many times in the past. I was able to find a way to stop it and I don’t want to be in that situation ever again.

High speed internet that we need

Saturday, June 6th, 2009

For a blogger like me who maintains so many blogs, internet connection is very important. A high-speed one at that. But then, not all DSL or cable internet companies can service an area. There are neighborhoods where there services will not be available for sure. So how can you get high-speed internet connection now? Let me tell you this: Hughes Net give you high speed internet connection through satellite!

They are offering high speed internet wherever you live. You will surely get 50x faster internet connection than dial-up. And this offer comes with a low price tag! A fast and secure internet connection for a lower price than other offers? HUGHES NET is giving you that plus more. Free installation on all equipment lease plans, no phone line required (which is a blessing for most households since not everyone wants their internet connection tied to their phone line), and there’s a 30-day satisfaction guaranteed!

What I like most about this offer from Hughesnet is that, when you refer a friend to them, you will get a $100 cash back. Wow! If this is an offer from my previous internet service provider, I would have gotten back so much by now.

So if you are interested in getting satellite internet for your home, go to USSatellite.com now and get that high speed internet connection you need. Or call toll free 1-877-203-6879 with the promo code: 12037 if you are ready to order. Bloggers out there who are not satisfied with your internet connection, go try out Hughes Net’s offer now!

Twisted is back!

Saturday, June 6th, 2009

Can I do it? Hmm… I know I can but I need to summon all my powers and call on all saints to pull this off. I’ll start today. I will write it down in another blog. But I will make updates about it here as well.

This is twisted! I doubt if I will be coherent for the next few days. Best of luck to me!
;)

Happy weekend everyone!

P.S. In case you are wondering, this is me talking to myself :D

For working adults

Friday, June 5th, 2009

My friend and I were talking about taking up online college courses. We are both interested in becoming entrepreneurs and we want a degree to back us up. I am also thinking of taking up Information Technology because I wanted to open my very own internet cafe soon. I don’t want to rely on technicians alone. I want a knowledge of what I am getting into.

Capella University offers an alternative for busy people like me who can’t go to an actual campus to study. It is an accredited, fully online university and a graduate school for working adults like me. If you are interested, just go to Capella.edu for more information on the courses that they offer. And if you want to hear testimonials on persons who have actually undergone studies at Capella University, visit CapellaCommons.com to listen to 15-minute podcasts from students, faculty and staff.

New worry

Friday, June 5th, 2009

This Influenza A(H1N1) virus is really worrying me. Have you heard of the foreign exchange student from De La Salle University who was confirmed to have it? The campus was temporarily closed because of it. My brother just received a text message from a friend a few minutes ago. Another university has reported a confirmed case of the dreaded virus. And it’s now at the university belt! Where my brother’s school is! Classes will start on June 15 for my brother. I hope by then this virus is already contained.

Today…

Thursday, June 4th, 2009

I am so disoriented with the time these days. I woke up around 9:30AM today and the first thing that came to mind was it’s the middle of the night! I thought that I woke up at the wrong time. And then I realized that it’s already morning. Hay.

I had a problem with one of my blogs yesterday and it took me hours before I finally restored the missing posts. It gave me one whopping headache! Thank goodness I was able to restore it. After this post, I might go back to sleep. My eyes are teary and I feel so sluggish. A couple more hours of sleep will do me some good for sure :)
Enjoying the rain?
