My brother was aboard the jeepney when all of a sudden, someone snatched a girl’s necklace. It was chaos after that. The man beside the girl told her that he noticed the snatcher already but was just too afraid of what might happen to him so he didn’t say anything. My brother was so angry. He said that the guy should have done something, probably grab the snatcher because he was so near. He would have done so, said my brother.
Of course, when we heard what he said, we castigated him. Snatchers, robbers and other street criminals carry a weapon with them all the time. There were local news reports about those who defended themselves against these snatchers and got stabbed in return. Worse, some were even shot by these criminals! We don’t want that to happen to my brother, or to anyone else for that matter. The trick these days is to just stay calm and give the robber what he’s asking or just let the snatcher go. Whatever’s been taken from you can be bought back. Your life can’t be.
Life preservation is better. Unless you see someone being killed and you have the capacity to defend him/her, then do so. If not, better run as fast as you can or go to the nearest police station and let the authorities handle it. Call me a coward or selfish but these criminals have nothing to lose so they won’t think twice about killing you.

My sister and I need diet pills that work! We are not getting any younger but we are getting bigger and bigger
It’s too bad that it’s also in our genes that as we grow older, we also cannot help but become overweight. It’s in our family.
I have an aunt who was the sexiest among the girls in our family. But when she got married and had a kid, the weight that was added to her during her pregnancy retained. She couldn’t do anything about the weight anymore. So my sister and I were talking about being overweight and our fears that in the years to come, we might suffer even worse fate in the weight department than our aunt’s.

The Bourne Ultimatum in HBO. I really like Matt Damon. Ever since I saw him in Good Will Hunting, I’ve been a fan. The Bourne series is one of my favorites.
I’ll be back later… will have to concentrate on Matt for now hehe

Once upon a time, I thought of pursuing a higher education. When I inquired with a local university, they told me that classes are only in the morning and that I have to be a full time student in my first year. Of course, I didn’t pursue it. I didn’t have the luxury of time back then, working at least 12-hour shifts on weekdays.
Now, there is an option for a professional like me who wants to take up their masters or PhD without having to compromise their work. Get the degree online from Capella University. They are offering graduate degree programs in business, information technology, education, human services, psychology, public health, and public safety as well as some bachelor’s degree programs for those who are still undergraduate.
Even getting a degree now has became easier. Know more about the university at Capella.edu and take up your master’s and climb that corporate ladder.

I saw this “great” ex-friend go online the other day. I buzzed him, thinking he might talk to me. But you know what he did? He logged off. Or became invisible to me probably. I sent him a message anyway: you’d think you’d have the decency to at least say sorry for what you did to me! grabe ka talaga! nasira ka na ng mga kalokohan mo sa buhay!
He didn’t respond, of course. He became a big coward when he got afflicted with that disease. It makes me think that his liver is not the one affected but his brains. He lost it! Imagine screwing the one person outside his family who’s most concerned about him…

We are currently having issues with the day care where Hazel goes for some schooling daily. Lately, we’ve been noticing that Hazel’s having the “p and f” syndrome. You know where her p’s become f’s and vice versa. Then, we’re also noticing that she’s becoming like tomboy, mimicking some actions that she obviously didn’t learn here at home.
We’re thinking of pulling her out but her mom insists on continuing her lessons there. We just think that she has another agenda and that her daughter’s education is far from that. The day care gives away so many freebies from local politicians and her mom loves it! My dad talked to her mom, telling her our observations but she’s deaf to it.
It’s so hard to explain to a person who cannot even comprehend what you were saying in the first place!

Some of us are not lucky enough to be given good health. In every family, there’s usually someone sick and in need of medical attention. We’ve been there so many times in the past. I know the feeling of being besieged by expenses left and right. Thus, any help will really come as a blessing. Especially with the prices of the supplies you need.
Allegro Medical knows that. They are one of the largest online retailers of life enhancement supplies like electrodes, FreeStyle Diabetes Test Strips, AED Defibrillator and so much more. They are offering serious limited time specials and discounts through their free Allegro eCatalog. Just go to their web site at AllegroMedical.com and know more about this offer.

Lately, I’ve been feeling the need to go out of the house whenever I see the sun shining brightly. It’s been raining for the past few weeks here in Manila. Nobody goes out unless to go to the office or the church. So when the sun shone brightly today, I felt like going to the mall.
I have tons of things to finish today so going out is not an option. I stayed inside and made sure I look out my window from time to time. Just to look at the rays of sun… and imagine I am out enjoying the day without worrying about how to go about completing every thing on my to-do list.
