Marquise Link Bracelet Watch $38.00
My aunt will be celebrating her birthday on the 27th of this month. She invited us for a dinner on the 26th. This aunt of mine is very generous. If she feels like we might be in need, she will voluntarily extend a helping hand even without you asking for it. That’s how kindhearted and thoughtful she can be to her love ones. It is only natural that we go out of our way to be as thoughtful on her birthday.
My sisters and I will be giving her a jewelry. No, we cannot afford the expensive ones. But we will be giving her the Marquise Link Bracelet Watch (photo above) from HolstedJewelers.com, a web site offering exclusively designed jewelry, gifs and accessories. Fashionable does not always mean costly. At Holsted Jewelers, one can also be fashionable with their affordable merchandise. Go and visit their web site now for more information.

Some people are into sci-fi movies. I am not much into it. X-Files is fine. I’ve also watch a couple of alien movies that I regretted…
But with Star Wars… No, I don’t have any plans of seeing it. For the simple reason that I am just not into the movie. I find it corny. Sorry.
I have never seen a single movie. I’ve watched the trailers and it’s enough for me to know that I won’t be enjoying it. I actually find it weird that people even line up to watch it right away. I just don’t get it.
When my brother was still living, he watched a gala premiere of this movie with some cousins. I was invited but I declined. I’d surely be the party pooper hehe

I am thankful that even though we lost my mom already, my dad’s still there who supports us every step of the way. I have written about my new and weird schedule, right? Well, my dad knows about it and to show his support, he would ask me if I am hungry when he wakes up in the morning, around 5AM. And actually, by that time, I am really hungry already.
Just now, he cooked scrambled eggs and hotdogs to go with my pan de sal. Yum! Even my sisters who just woke up to go to work are eating their breakfast now. Courtesy of my dad
For the life of me, I really don’t have an inclination to cook, especially when I am in my thinking mode. Little things become a big task when I am busy coming up with ‘ideas’. Even putting something on my face, like an wrinkle cream, is a big task for me.
This weird schedule of mine is creating an equally weird mealtime cycle for me. I don’t eat dinner now but I eat a hearty breakfast around 5 in the morning, which I didn’t use to do. I eat little lunch as well. So the biggest meal for me these days is breakfast. But I am not losing weight because of the havoc the schedule is probably doing to my metabolism. Hahaha
Oh well, better that than nothing coming in, right? I am really thankful my dad is there to lend us a supporting hand. My siblings and I appreciate him more now.

There’s a lot of things going in my friend’s life right now. When I talked to her, she is obviously torn on the inside. Depressed and worried. I know that she just needs some time away from it all. She’s one tough woman! She went through a lot in life already but the last blow was a big one. If I only have more than enough funds, I would have given her an Outer Banks vacation. That would truly cheer her up, even a bit. It will also divert her attention from the many worries swimming in her head.
This friend of mine is like a sister to me already. I just hate it when she’s troubled because she deserves happiness more than anybody else. I am praying that she gets over this latest hurdle in her life and will emerge a better, stronger woman.

If you remember, I once wrote here that I get tired too easily when I go out of the house and I have tons of things to do at night. A trip to the mall or anywhere else just exhausts me. Even a trip to the supermarket to buy cat supplies for my cousin tired me out. Just to make sure I can still do the things I needed to get done, I have to sleep off the exhaustion for at least three hours. Which is a waste of time for me because I could have done so much in that space of time.
I guess this is the drawback with working at home. You get so used to walking a few steps and plopping down in front of your computer. Then, when you have to do more than that, factor in the heat, you get tired easily. That’s the case with me, anyway. I’ve been like that for over a year now.

It’s raining here in Manila once again. There’s a tropical storm and the weather is just right for sleeping. I will be turning in a few minutes. I believe I did more than enough work for the last few hours. I have more to do later today and tomorrow. Hopefully, more will come in the days to come
That’s all for now, folks!
Don’t forget to visit my newest baby, The Bookworm Confessions, okay? I have grand plans for that blog. Hehehe
Happy weekend everyone! Have a great one!

And Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince will be shown here!!!

Whenever there’s a new Harry Potter movie coming up, my sisters and I make a countdown and would already plan when and where we’re going to watch it. We normally watch at SM North Edsa during the opening weekend. We would plan already where we’re going to eat. What food we’re going to bring in the cinema. What time we’re going to wake up so as to catch an early screening time. OA ano? Hahaha!

We are especially excited because this is one of the best books of the Harry Potter series. We’ve read the book and this is the movie where the action begins. There will be more fight scenes, more romantic scenes, with Hermione crying over Ron and Dumbledore dying.
Can’t wait for the movie! I’ve read that it will open on the 16th here. And it will be shown at the new IMAX theater in SM North Edsa! Yey!

Announcements Graduation Invitations
The end of a tough journey should be celebrated. I do believe in that. Therefore, a college graduation party is something that I truly encourage people to hold. It need not be grand. It can be just family and the relatives and close friends. Or it can just be a graduation announcement if there’s no fund for an actual party.
College Graduation Announcements can be ordered at Announcements-Shoppe. They also offer graduation party invitations for those who are holding a feast for the graduates.
There are designs you can choose from which you can personalize, either by adding a photo or a logo to it. View the proof that they will email within an hour of finalizing the design you like. Have them adjust the color or the design itself until you are satisfied with the final look of your graduation invitations. Then order the minimum they require and get 10 more free cards. Get the exclusive design and save even a bit from your purchase.

The days are passing by so fast. It’s now nearing half of July. Before we know it, it’ll be the holidays once again. Time to pack those shipping boxes for the holiday presents going back home to relatives and friends.
Whereas last year I was able to buy holiday gifts slowly throughout April to early December, I think this year, I might be waiting until November before I do my Christmas shopping. Budget constraints plus the fact that I have noticed there are more variety to choose from come November of every year.

When I am sick, I take comfort in the fact that there’s someone who will take care of me. My sister. I am sick right now, down with the flu. But I am making sure I drink lots of water and I drink my medicine on time. I hate being sick because it stops me from doing so many things I would normally do when I feel better.
Being sick also makes me think of going on a vacation. Check in at the Stratosphere hotel or a local five star hotel. Just to pamper myself. I know that I am sick because I am pushing myself too far. But a few days of rest and enough sleep will make me better.

Some people are sooo stupid you’d think they don’t have brains in their heads.
I know someone who, instead of supporting her love one working abroad, would rather bombard him with negative text messages about nonexistent things. This, in turn, is making the person abroad worry so much that he’s always pissed off with everyone around him.
I don’t know why she’s being that way. She should be supporting her love one abroad because in the first place, he went there to work for them. He’s been there for two months and she’s being a major pest already!
If that isn’t being stupid, I don’t know what is!

Our kitchen sink’s leaking. I just had it done about two months ago and it’s already leaking. My sister was pissed off because she was surprised to find the floor all slippery from the leak the other day. I had it checked and my dad said that we have to replace the sink. The pipe was replaced the last time. The repairman didn’t check the sink and it already has a small hole that grew big. I am thinking of having the old one replaced by one of the zero radius sinks that I saw at Sienna Sinks.
It’s costly to maintain a house. I haven’t noticed this until I started working at home. There are too many things that needed replacing from time to time. There are just too many expenses. No wonder there are families who struggle to make both ends meet. I am lucky that my sisters and I help each other out with the household expenses. Otherwise, I don’t know how I will be able to cope up with everything.
