A cottage instead of a room

October 5th, 2009

I love reading romance novels. In one of the many novels I’ve read in the past, the one entitled Perfect by Judith McNaught is a favorite. In the story, the lead male character was hiding from the law because he was accused of killing his ex-wife. He hid in a beautiful cottage owned by the Farrells in the mountains. Ever since I read that story, I knew I wanted to try going on a holiday and staying in a cottage instead of a hotel.

There are holiday cottages available for those who are interested of renting out one. There is more privacy in getting your own place for your holiday vacation than booking a room in a hotel. You can do whatever you want in a cottage without the need to consider that there is someone in the next room. A cottage or a chalet is all yours for your stay. If you are staying longer than a week, a cottage might be cheaper compared to a hotel room. You know how a hotel room has limited capacity, right? If you are traveling with the whole family, you might need to book two to three rooms. That will add up to a pretty sum. With self catering cottages, the worry of overspending with accommodation is taken away.

Plus, you can cook the food you want and not worry that it is overpriced or not on the menu! Or someone might be on a diet and the food you want is not on the menu…

If you are planning on going on self catering holidays soon, I suggest you plan it, book a house yourself. Go to Holiday-Rentals.co.uk now. Surely, you will find a house that will meet your requirements. You only need to search using their web site. Remember, every destination has a house/cottage/chalet for rent. And you can locate one through Holiday-Rentals.
