- With the recent typhoons that hit the country, I realized that the most important thing is that your family is together. Nothing beats the peace of mind brought about by the knowledge that your family is safe and complete. I really thank God that it was a Saturday when Ondoy hit the country. All my siblings were home then. I keep wondering if it hit on a week night and my sister was still working in Makati or on the way home…
- Our overwhelming need to relocate changed because of Ondoy and Pepeng. We are now re-evaluating our plans. Imagine, our street was the only one that did not experience any flooding during the recent typoon Ondoy. The places we’ve looked into were flooded. Relocation is not an option for us anymore. We figured that this is the safest place for us right now.
