Curved balls
Life throws unexpected curved balls to us. We’ve been dreaming for years and years to achieve things and when we do, we are suddenly told that our lives will be cut short. Pinatikim ka lang pala.
How come so many bad people are living the best time of their lives while the good ones are suffering?
How come people who want to die are given longer lives while the ones whose days are numbered seem like their lives are getting even shorter?
Life is a big mystery. There are days when I would think about my brother who died when he was 15 and would think that why him? He was too young. I have a feeling that I might die young, too. When you haven’t seen death yet, you’d think that you are invincible and that life is stretched in front of you. You’d grow old and wrinkled. But when you’ve seen someone you love breathe their last, that will change.
Death is just around the corner, waiting to pounce on you. Sounds morbid? But it’s the truth!
