Engineering at its best

Tuesday, November 17th, 2009

When you are talking about engineering, there is only one name that you should remember… Quadrant. Monocast or Polypenco, Quadrant is the company best suited to meet your company’s needs.

I heard about Quadrant from a friend who works for a government project. They are looking for custom made plastic materials that they can use for the road projects and one of the vendors they know recommended the company to them. My friend was tasked to check out the company and lucky enough, he found the information he needs through their web site.

If I am not mistaken, they will be ordering from Quadrant anytime soon. It is a big road project and they need so many materials including Proteus and some other Cast Nylons that my friend is talking about.

For engineering at its best, go to QuadrantEPP.com now. They are your best shot for quality made products and good service and support.

Outsourcing back-end work

Sunday, November 15th, 2009

A friend of mine put up his very own engineering firm. The company already have a couple of clients and he’s getting two engineers for now to help him out. Since the business is just starting up, he thought he might as well outsource some of the back-end work, to save up on expenses.

KondlerCPA, a Las Vegas cpa firm, is well known in the financial account world and they are assuring their clients of value service. Should my friend decides to get their services, his company will benefit from it because Kondler, Chavez & Koch, CPAs has vast amount of experience in the Professionals (Medical, Attorneys, Engineers) industry, as well as with Homeowner Associations, Entertainment, Auto Dealerships and more.

Random thoughts for today…

Sunday, November 15th, 2009

I am besieged with self-doubt regarding some decisions I have to make. It’s just so hard to get out of my comfort zone. I’ve been doing just fine where I am right now. But then I have to step up because I have things I want done by next year or the year after that. It’s making me nervous.

I am praying that I will make the right decisions.

On Facebook yesterday, I got this.

On this day, God wants you to know…
… that every moment is an opportunity for you to be happy. You know how sometimes it seems that life is just throwing you one curved ball after another? Well, guess what, – you have a great way to respond! – you can use every opportunity, every single one, to be happy. Don’t just take a shower – feel into and receive… pleasure from the water on your skin. Don’t just walk on the street – enjoy the fragrances of the trees and the flowers on your way. Don’t just drive your car – sing karaoke to your favorite radio station.

I just love the message that every moment is an opportunity for us to be happy. It’s all up to us. I keep telling my sibs that keep all the negative far away as much as they can so the good things can come into our lives.

Happy Sunday everyone! I hope you are enjoying your weekend.

Today…

Tuesday, November 10th, 2009

My sister and I went to National Bookstore (Mo. Ignacia Branch) this afternoon, when she got home from school. It was on a whim because we wanted to eat burgers and I am adding books to my collection. I am into actual books once again. I used to utilize ebooks coming from my ebook group. But when I was reading Jodi Picoult’s My Sister’s Keeper, I thought it would be much better if I was holding the real book. So I went on a book-buying spree.

I love being near books. The general feeling of being near one that you love the most…

I sound like a nerd! Haha

When we got home, I have a new addition to my book collection: Sandra Brown’s Smash Cut. That’s her latest bestseller. I am not yet done with Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick but right after it, I will read Smash Cut right away. I am on my reading mode. In fact, while I am blogging and playing Pet Society, I am also reading on the side. Multi-tasking at its best! :D
Can you now see how much I love reading?

Nostalgia

Tuesday, November 10th, 2009

I saw old photo holiday cards and it made me both sad and happy. Happy because I remembered the moment when each card arrived. Sad because it happened when my mom was still alive. I really miss my mom, especially on special occasions. The holiday season is almost upon us so you bet the feeling of nostalgia and sadness mixed together is increasing every day.

This might explain why I am on reading mode. Reading has always been my escape from emotions I do not want to feel, from reality. Sigh. Or my sister is probably right. It’s the season and hormones.

Lately…

sleeping

Sleep. That’s what I’ve been doing a lot less lately. I just can’t understand why I haven’t been able to finish a lot of the tasks I have. Probably due to my inability to focus. My attention span is getting shorter and shorter. Sigh.

Anyway, I had a few hours of sleep today and I think it really did my body good. I felt recharged and ready for more. More of what, I am not sure yet haha

Buying out his share

Tuesday, November 10th, 2009

My uncle’s wife talked to her brother about buying out his share in the house left by their father. It was a pretty decent talk they had and before that day ended, they already had an agreement. My aunt paid his share out. Her brother and his family were supposed to move out about two weeks ago but until now, their things were still in the house. My aunt, not wanting any bad blood between them, have been patiently waiting until they can clean out the place.

For the moment, she’s looking at homes for rent for her and her kids. She’s given them a month to clean out everything. If not, she’ll someone move it out for them. She’s given them several considerations already. I think that’s enough.

Hooked on Sushi

Tuesday, November 10th, 2009

I was telling my sister that I will get Sushi breeches should it become available in the clothes store. She, in turn, was telling me about her farm. Yes, we are both hooked! I blame her for this. I wasn’t a big fan of FB or any social networking site before but then she taught me one game and that’s it! I became an instant fan! I regret every minute of that afternoon hahaha

I am trying to shake off being hooked to my Sushi. But I am enjoying playing and I’ve never really enjoyed any game quite like this. Are you playing, too?
;)

Music Monday: Alone by Glee cast

Monday, November 9th, 2009

Alone by the Glee cast. My sister, Meng, is hooked on Glee. As a result, even Hazel and I have been listening to their songs now. This is their cover of the song, Alone. You must admit, they are pretty good. I also love their rendition of Avril Lavigne’s Keep Holding On.

Happy Monday everyone!

Health worries

Monday, November 9th, 2009

I feel I am becoming a hypochondriac. I only tell my sister about it but I have these fears that I voice out from time to time. Everything about my health. What worries me most is that I still don’t have a health insurance up to now. It’s been on my list for over a year now and still, I haven’t gotten one.

Someone told me about Blue Cross North Carolina‘s health plans. Might check it out later after some tasks I need to finish.

Two people from the past

Monday, November 9th, 2009

It’s freaky when you see someone you’ve known for a brief period, albeit a rather charged one, again. It’s like looking at someone you know but don’t really know. Get it? It’s actually funny. I suddenly remembered the person and then I looked the person up. I couldn’t even remember the person’s face! Funny talaga :D
Anyway, I get a bit nostalgic from time to time. I also checked out the Bratinella a few days ago. Didn’t know that she got pregnant and gave birth to a baby girl already! How time flies talaga! It’s been a couple of years since she found out about my blog and my posts about her being a brat and major pain hahaha
