Web site promotion

Saturday, February 20th, 2010

My friend’s husband, Bong, is thinking of getting the services of an online pr agency. Bong wants to promote his personal web site. He wants to be up there in the ranking game. He wants his web site to land on the first pages of major search engines when people search for the best vintage car restorer. He is a really good mechanic, working for a big car brand known internationally. In his free time, he restores vintage cars. He loves vintage cars and he got this passion from his grandfather. He grew up seeing vintage cars around the neighborhood where they used to live. His grandfather was also a good mechanic and his specialty was vintage cars.

He knows a little about search engine optimization. He knows that if a site is optimized by experts, it will be a plus factor for it to land on the first pages of major search engines. He knows he needs some link building, too. He wants all of that to happen. He is really thinking of focusing more on restoration now. If business will pick up, he might just quit working for the company and work on his own.

Status Media PLC offers seo services and more. You can be a company looking for insurance leads and they can help you with it. You can be like Bong needing to promote his web site. Status Media provides these services and more. Link building to promote your site. PR boosting. All these services are intended to promote your site and increase your sales. Pangasinan weekend

Wednesday, February 17th, 2010

We might be going to Pangasinan this weekend. It will be a long weekend because the 22nd is a holiday. My dad and his siblings are still talking about it. They’re planning a two-day stay that will include going to Our Lady of Manaoag Church and a side trip to Hundred Islands. Swimming time! I am just a bit worried because my dad is experiencing joint pain and he might not be up for a long travel time. But the fresh air and the early morning sun will do him a lot of good for sure.

I am not yet decided whether we would really go. I am saving up and going with the family would mean shelling out a chunk of money. I do hope they will chip in this time around. If not, it’s a no-go for us.

Long journey ahead

Journey-Ahead

She has been working so hard for the past decade, thinking of everyone around her but herself. She feels like it’s time to start indulging a bit, think of her future more and begin her life journey. She wants to slim down. She let herself go for the past few years, food being her only indulgence. She wants more from life now and to do that, she needs the safest weight loss pills there is to help her lose weight, get healthy and be ready for the long journey ahead.

Fit into that dress

lose-weight

My sister really likes a dress that she saw in a magazine. She is thinking of using it in a school function. The thing is, it doesn’t fit her. The biggest size they have is still a tad too small for her. It would be great to have a diet pill that works really fast so that she can lose weight before the big event.

If only there is a quick fix for weight loss. It would probably be so much easier to do a great-looking dress, right?

The infamous bike wound

Wednesday, February 17th, 2010

Hazel went to Pangasinan with her dad last December 28. They went there because her grandma wanted to see her and her siblings. So off she went to her dad’s province…

Pangasinan

Notice how bubbly she looked? She’s excited and even had her things ready! Cute di ba? She had her little bag with her pa. They were supposed to go home the day after. But then they decided to extend for one more day. On her second night, her mom called us up to tell her that Hazel was crying really hard and was asking to be brought home. Home meant us. When my sister talked to her, she was sobbing her heart out. We thought she was just missing us but it turned out that she had a large wound and it was hurting so much! Her hand got stuck in the bike’s wheel without her dad knowing it. We were so worried! If Pangasinan is just near, we would have went and gotten her back that very night. Good thing they went home the next day. But it wasn’t until 11 in the evening that we saw her again. Looking like this…

HaggardNinin

Tell me, would you be happy to see your little girl looking like this? I was already sleeping when she arrived. My sister told me that the little girl couldn’t even stand on her own. She looked so weary. And she was so hungry! After eating, she was able to get up and asked to see her pet (Pancake in Pet Society hehe).

BikeWound

And yes, that’s the infamous bike wound! My sister said that it was obviously not cleaned when Hazel arrived. My dad got angry and scolded her parents. Sobra naman kasing pabaya! We are taking good care of her each and every single day. Three days with them and she went home looking like a 30-year-old stressed out girl with a big open wound to boot!

Detox diet

Wednesday, February 17th, 2010

I haven’t been feeling 100% okay for the past few days now. I’ve been feeling full and bloated and my hyperacidity problem has kicked in again. I do think that this is a diet aid of some kind because I haven’t been eating as much lately. I am officially in a forced diet mode ha-ha

I do think that I need to start that detox diet I have in mind. I’ve read about it and a local health news program featured that detox diet. And there were people featured, too, that said the detox diet worked for them. It cleansed their bodies and even worked as a weight loss element for them. That’s what I need!

Something sweet

Chocolate-covered_macadamia_nuts

Have you indulged in sweets last Valentine’s Day? Have you eaten all the chocolates your honey gave you? Ah, yes! You enjoyed it, did you? Now it’s time for some fat burner to shed those calories from last weekend!

I just admit that I indulged, too. My sister brought home two big boxes of Macadamia Nuts covered with chocolates. I love macadamia nuts. You can just imagine how many pieces I devoured! I felt bad about it afterwards but I just consoled myself with the fact that it’s a special day and something sweet was required to be eaten.

Ha-ha-ha!

Blinded by love

Wednesday, February 17th, 2010

Don’t try to fool me when it comes to money matters because I’ve been there. Not to mention the fact that I was an accountant for a long time and will remain as such until I develop Alzheimer’s. Don’t try to create a scenario that you know I can easily see through. I know. I’ve been dealing with those institutions since I became a professional. I know. Okay?

Blinded by love

It’s funny how we forget to be careful when we are so blinded by love. We forget that those close to us can see through your flimsy excuses. I can understand the situation, sure. But to try to sell a scenario that I could easily figure out as untrue. Ha!

It just annoyed the hell out of me.

Pass it on

Wednesday, February 17th, 2010

If there is a kid at home, better make sure that you are not only taking care of the kid, take care of yourself as well. If you are sick, chances are you will pass it on to your kid. Cough and colds are the most common sickness you can pass on. But there are also skin diseases that your kid might get from contact to your affected skin. If you have eczema, your kid might get it from you, too.

Make sure you are healthy so the kid you are taking care of will not get any sickness from you.

Job applications

Wednesday, February 17th, 2010

Shen and I are both out of work. Actually, she is out of work while I am no longer in the corporate world. We are both looking for corporate jobs and are readying our resumes for the job fairs we are going to.

My actual plan is to start applying last January and be back in the rat race by February. But I changed my mind. I had some important things I had to attend to so I am moving it to May. Or whenever within the year that I’d get lucky and find the company who will give in to my demands.

Just want to greet you all…

Interested in a different kind of investment?

Friday, February 12th, 2010

Are you interested to buy gold bullion? There are traders who specialize in this area. A different kind of investment. There are also those called gold exchange-traded funds (ETFs). This is different from a gold bullion. Traders are asking if the former will take over the place of the latter in the capital market. The US Gold Bureau doesn’t think so.

You see, there is a market for both. It’s just that the focus is more on the ETFs now with the expansion hitting the Thailand stock market soon. If you want to know more about this development, go to USGoldBureau.com now.
