Hazel was sick for close to five days since Monday. She had fever and diarrhea. We went to her pedia and aside from the medicine, was advised to stop eating junk food. The thing is, we don’t really allow her to eat junk food. But when she goes out of the house, we don’t know what her folks are giving her. Hay.
The candies got to go. She’s been eating a lot of lollipops lately. And she’s on a soft diet for now. Poor girl’s craving for tempura but it has to wait.
She’s okay now but we’re giving it a few more days before she goes back to her normal diet.

You can really feel the summer heat now. All I want to do is take a bath and never leave the bathroom. My sisters and I am talking about going to the beach. It might be after the end of this school year because the two teachers in the family will be busy for the next few weeks. Plus the other accountant is also busy because of the tax and audit season.
My dad wants to go to Pangasinan again. My siblings don’t want to anymore. We’ve been there a couple of times during the past three years and for us, it’s enough. Our Tia Cely’s place is a tad too small for all of us. The barrio gets too dark by 6PM. There’s no sari-sari store nearby, you have to walk through a literally dark street before you can get there. The light is too malamlam (I don’t know the right term for this in English). The place has a general feel of being gloomy. Don’t get me wrong. Those times we stayed there were memorable ones for us. The company was good. We love our Tia Cely to bits! But to endure another night of gloom when we can just ask Tia Cely to come to Manila and join us elsewhere…
Anyway, I would love to go to Laiya, Batangas. My sisters are saying we go to Boracay. Bahala na. What I do know is that I need to go to the beach.

My sister, Grace, is a frustrated pianist. She really wanted to play piano chords but then there were more important expenses my parents need to prioritize so my sister’s dreams of becoming a pianist had to take a back seat.
Thanks to Play Piano Tips, a web site where you can learn piano chords easily. My sister can now learn how to play the piano. No need for her to start from the very bottom of the ladder the way kids do when they start piano lessons. She can now short cut her way to learning, so to speak. All you frustrated pianists need is the step-by-step piano video tutorials of Yoke Wong.
You can learn playing piano chords through the video. The best part is that you can learn piano improvisation! This is not taught my piano teachers and can be learned only if you do it yourself. Of course, with the help of Yoke Wong. Watch her videos and learn! Go to PlayPianoTips.com now and enter your name and valid email address to claim your free piano playing techniques.

I realized that enjoying a dinner does not depend on how many people will be with you. You can be just four and still have a fun, fun time with each other.
That’s what happened last Friday. My friends and I were planning to see each other because we found another friend of ours we’ve long been looking for in Facebook. Things didn’t go as planned. Before Friday, the meet-up was scrapped already. The ‘guest of honor’ was not replying to messages sent to her. We thought of asking others to join us instead. But being a close-knit group, we were not as confident the night would go well with trying to talk to people we hardly ever get to bond with in high school. To make a long story short, we scrapped the plan altogether. No more plans of seeing each other on Friday night for dinner.
And then come Thursday afternoon, we found ourselves planning the dinner again. Tim was under a stressful situation at work so she wanted some stress busting time with us. Dinner happened with only four of us: Tim, Shen, Jing and yours truly. It was a blast! Our table was the loudest! We were laughing about inanimate objects that slipped into the discussion unnoticed. We were teasing Shen about her boyfriend coming over for a visit. We were talking about so many things that before we know it, almost 5 hours have lapsed. As usual, fun times have had by all.
Unfortunately, no one thought of bringing a camera so no photos taken that night. Sayang! I would have love to post the photo of the sisig rice I ate. Sarap eh!

My friend’s husband, Bong, is thinking of getting the services of an online pr agency. Bong wants to promote his personal web site. He wants to be up there in the ranking game. He wants his web site to land on the first pages of major search engines when people search for the best vintage car restorer. He is a really good mechanic, working for a big car brand known internationally. In his free time, he restores vintage cars. He loves vintage cars and he got this passion from his grandfather. He grew up seeing vintage cars around the neighborhood where they used to live. His grandfather was also a good mechanic and his specialty was vintage cars.
He knows a little about search engine optimization. He knows that if a site is optimized by experts, it will be a plus factor for it to land on the first pages of major search engines. He knows he needs some link building, too. He wants all of that to happen. He is really thinking of focusing more on restoration now. If business will pick up, he might just quit working for the company and work on his own.
Status Media PLC offers seo services and more. You can be a company looking for insurance leads and they can help you with it. You can be like Bong needing to promote his web site. Status Media provides these services and more. Link building to promote your site. PR boosting. All these services are intended to promote your site and increase your sales. We might be going to Pangasinan this weekend. It will be a long weekend because the 22nd is a holiday. My dad and his siblings are still talking about it. They’re planning a two-day stay that will include going to Our Lady of Manaoag Church and a side trip to Hundred Islands. Swimming time! I am just a bit worried because my dad is experiencing joint pain and he might not be up for a long travel time. But the fresh air and the early morning sun will do him a lot of good for sure.
I am not yet decided whether we would really go. I am saving up and going with the family would mean shelling out a chunk of money. I do hope they will chip in this time around. If not, it’s a no-go for us.

She has been working so hard for the past decade, thinking of everyone around her but herself. She feels like it’s time to start indulging a bit, think of her future more and begin her life journey. She wants more from life now and to do that, she needs the safest weight loss pills there is to help her lose weight, get healthy and be ready for the long journey ahead.

My sister really likes a dress that she saw in a magazine. She is thinking of using it in a school function. The thing is, it doesn’t fit her. The biggest size they have is still a tad too small for her. It would be great to have a diet pill that works really fast so that she can lose weight before the big event.
If only there is a quick fix for weight loss. It would probably be so much easier to do a great-looking dress, right?
