Entertainment news I read
Entertainment News. I read it a lot! Well, who doesn’t? The lives of the celebrities are so interesting and so entertaining that when you start reading one news article or entertainment blog entry, you end up reading the rest of the news you can get your hands on. I must admit that it’s eating a chunk of my time in the morning. Sometimes, I feel guilty for being so hooked on entertainment news because I am more interested in it than on national issues. But admit it, after reading crimes committed left and right, corruption, abuse, and other unimaginable things happening around the country, you feel like cleansing your mind and turning to something more lighter. Entertainment news! I love reading about new hook-ups especially if it’s two of my favorite stars. Or that of new Hollywood babies. I love reading new beginnings and success.
I remember I watched a season or two of Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie’s The Simple Life. I saw them really fumble their way to popularity. Both looked so wasted in almost every episode of that show but the media was reporting their every naughty escapades. I was actually following entertainment sites because of the two. Then they had a fight that made them somehow the best of enemies… Then fast forward to a couple of years after, Nicole Richie is now a mom of two and Paris Hilton is still the party girl but have mellowed a bit. They have reconciled and are now friends once again. I read all these in an entertainment site that I read. I love how you can read entertainment news about reconciliations of friends and lovers. It just makes me smile even though I don’t know them personally.
Whatever you say, my time reading entertainment news makes me smile even after reading something that broke my heart.
