A giving sister and friend

Friday, July 30th, 2010

My sister bought prenatal vitamins for her co-teacher. My sister loves giving gifts even without an occasion. She would buy clothes for her godchildren and will give it to them even on an ordinary day. She would give expensive gifts to us her siblings. She would buy our dad the things she thinks he wants. The same goes for our brother.

Her co-teachers love her because she brings food to the school for them to share. They’re thinking that she might be from a rich family that’s why she’s like that. What they didn’t know was that’s just her nature. Giving.

She’s always been like that. That’s why she gets so many blessings in return.

Top of the list

Friday, July 30th, 2010

The top rated fat burners are occupying the top of the list of things Wina will buy today. She is desperate to lose weight because the wedding of her sister will be in three months! She postponed dieting again and again that before she knows it, the wedding is so near already!

I don’t know if three months will be enough for Wina to lose the pounds she needs to shed off but it’s worth the risk. I do hope she will look lovely in her maid of honor gown.

Naughty kid

Friday, July 30th, 2010

Pat needs to buy xerox phaser 8560 because he was the one who lost the only one left in the photocopier store. Pat is a naughty kid. He loves practical jokes and would often do it even to those he doesn’t know. But he is also a good kid because he will confess to his practical jokes without being prompted for it.

He will take the money to purchase the xerox phaser off his allowance.

Sorted out junk

Friday, July 30th, 2010

I sorted out so many documents I have at the storage room upstairs. I wanted to lessen the junk our house had so I asked my sisters and brother to also sort out their own junk. Do you know what one of the things I found? My old health insurance policy! I was looking for it a couple of years ago so I could renew it. But I didn’t so I opted for an NC health insurance plan instead. Good thing I did. I have no regrets doing so.

I just feel that I store too many things because I tend to hold on to the past and the good times associated with each item I have. I threw so many away. It’s time to move on.

Can be so much more…

Friday, July 30th, 2010

I am saving up so I can give the best weight loss pill to my sister who badly needs it. It’s really hard to lose weight. That’s a fact. And it becomes harder when a person belongs to a family who loves to eat, just like ours. I’ve been overweight for the most part of my life and although I don’t have any bad memories associated with it, I know I could have done more if I wasn’t one.

I don’t want my sister to be stuck on the same ride I am in. She can be more and I want her to.

Dirty water

Thursday, July 29th, 2010

His acne has gone from bad to worse! The dirty water that he is using possibly caused the worsening of the acne. In their neighborhood, all the residents make do with what water supply they get. That includes him. He is now in bad need of an acne serum to stop the spread of the acne to the lower part of his neck.

We are also experiencing a not-so-clean water supply right now. My dad made a filter so that we can get cleaner water. But I know that for someone who has acne or skin problems, the water can really bring big problems!

Hard work paid off

Thursday, July 29th, 2010

We were watching a reality tv show about weight loss. My sister and I were amazed at the transformation of the persons who were chosen for the show. They really gave their best to lose weight and the hard work paid off! How I wish my sister and I could have the same discipline that they have. Or there is a place where we can spend some time to help us discipline ourselves and at the same time really help with weight loss.

I am currently reading Lipovox reviews and it makes me want to really do something, anything! I am trying so hard to lose weight and I am not after just a pound or ten. I am after a lot of pounds I need to lose. And it’s really a lot.

Missing the relatives

Wednesday, July 28th, 2010

When I was a kid, our family used to go to the province at least twice a year to see the relatives. Once during the town feast, and once more during All Saints’ Day. We get to see almost all the relatives during these occasions. So we really made it a point to go.

When we grew up and started working, going to the province became a one-time affair. We were just too busy living our own lives and our schedules wouldn’t meet. We would just be able to visit during All Saints’ Day when we visit the grave of our dead love ones. That’s when the relatives converge in a single place.

It’s just sad that we’re losing the bond that we built from way back. The young ones are growing up and since we don’t see them that often, they don’t know us anymore. The elders are succumbing to old age one by one. In fact, only one nanang (great grandmother) lives. There are a couple of grand-aunts still living.

All of a sudden, I missed the bonding we shared during my younger years. Summer and other special occasions were more fun because of them.
