Afflicted by cancer

I’ve heard of asbestos mesothelioma but I’ve yet to know someone afflicted by it. Not that I want someone I know to be afflicted by it but what I mean is I haven’t heard of a local patient. Of course I would be very glad if no one locally is sick of mesothelioma. Who would want to be afflicted by cancer, anyway?

I wish there’s a breakthrough medicine already. Or medical procedure to cure cancer. I know doctors and other scientists are working hard to develop a cure. I do hope it will come about very soon. I’ve seen persons sick with different kinds of cancer. It’s not a pretty decent sickness because it will attack when you least expect it.
