I am thinking about getting this laptop table for my sister Meng…

She needs one. She loves writing while sitting on the sofa watching tv. This laptop table will give her the comfort she needs while typing away on her laptop.
I hope the seller will send me a message soon.

Our neighbor gave my dad a Beagle puppy. He’s one month old already. Hazel fell in love with the pup the first time she laid eyes on him. We asked her to name him and she said “Milo”. Because his color is like that of the chocolate drink
Everyone, meet Milo. Our cute new baby!

Yesterday was my sister’s birthday. As tradition in our family, we celebrated it by going out and having lunch together. The whole family. We had a blast and we were so full!
September is a busy month for the family. There are three birthdays to celebrate and my mom’s death anniversary to commemorate. And two friends of mine also celebrate their birthdays this month. Busy month!
Next Sunday will be our youngest brother’s birthday. I am thinking of just having dinner at home because he will be out for his thesis defense that day. And then my mom’s death anniversary so we will go visit her grave.
Busy, busy!

Tomorrow is one of my best bud’s birthday. Shen is turning 31, yeah! Tim, Jing and I are thinking of what gift to give her. She’s leaving for the states soon so we’re thinking of practical gifts. Ones that she can bring with her when she makes the international move.

Then I remember ugg boots! I know she loves it and she can surely bring it with her and use it. She can even wear it on her flight. I am thinking of the Authentic UGG Australia Women’s Bailey Button Triplet.
Think she’ll like it?

A theme designer that I’ve been following in a micro-blogging site is on an Orlando vacation. He regularly posts photos of him and his family while on vacation. Viewing them makes me want to pack my bag and go on a vacation, too!
That’s the beauty of working at home. You are in control of your schedule and you can go on vacations when you feel like it. But, of course, you need to have enough money to finance the vacation and to take the blunt of ‘no work, no pay’ that comes with being the boss of your self.
I still dream of being in Orlando right now and spending time in theme parks!

When it comes to gadgets, I am very practical. I don’t buy what’s “in”. I buy what I really need. With cellphones, I buy ones that have multi-functions for me. I have an old Smartphone and my new Nokia C3. Both are very affordable. I bought the Smartphone years ago from a friend. I bought it not only for the call and text functions of it. It can also be used as an ebook reader, a music and video player, and it can be loaded with so many applications like a Lextionary (dictionary for Smartphones).
Now with my Nokia C3… It was a gift to me by my lovable sister Meng. It was very affordable, too and it has social networking functions that I like. I don’t go for the expensive phones because that would be impractical for me. I am not much of a texter or caller so a simple one will do. Like my Nokia C3!
Pretty isn’t it?

Rache and her boyfriend are both looking for healthcare jobs. Rache is a midwife while her boyfriend is a nursing aide. They are finding it hard to look for open positions for them. Thank goodness for the internet they now found a site offering jobs for people who are in the medical field like them.
Finding a job at this time is not easy. Most of the companies who suffered a blow during the recession are still in the recuperating stage. And there are some who are folding up just now. But with patience and perseverance, people who are out of jobs like Rache and her boyfriend will eventually find one.

My aunt and her husband bought an adjacent lot to their home. They have been thinking of having a swimming pool and garden built on the lot. My cousin loves to swim so it’s not a surprise that they’re thinking about a pool. They actually go out of town or book a hotel room to be able for my cousin to swim.
I think the constructions under way. My aunt told me that she just ordered outdoor chaise lounges for the pool side. And the landscape artist is already discussing the layout of the garden to them.
Can’t wait for the construction to be done! I’ll drop by for sure.
