I have to have my earphones ready all the time. Whenever I need to think without distracting noises around me, I put on my earphones and listen to jazz music. It’s weird for some people who find any type of noise a distraction, especially music. But for me, it’s a stimulant.
My earphones are also there to stop me from being irritated with neighbors who can’t seem to talk quietly and have to shout every word they say to each other.

Roxy is asking… does alli work? Reviews made by those who tried it said yes, it does.
Roxy has been trying to lose weight fast because she’s going to be maid of honor in her best friend’s wedding on December. She is battling the bulge for a long time now. So it’s really hard for her to lose weight just like that. She needs more than just exercise and diet to start losing weight.
Weight loss supplements might be the thing she needs. And she’s going to try it.

Some men are doing everything to have a body that women will drool over. They spend so much time in the gym and would often take so many supplements. Those who are in the know should tell these men about creatine monohydrate. Tried and true. It surrounds the muscles with protection and energy.
I know a few men who wants a well-built body. And that includes my brother who’s now starting to built his muscles and tone the ones he already has.

Don’t stress yourself with useless people who don’t even deserve to be an issue in your life.
So true.
Yesterday, I had a terrible experience with someone I don’t know. I won’t elaborate on it anymore but suffice it to say that it irritated the hell out of me. It almost ruined my day and disturbed my work flow. But then I realize why would I stress myself out, use up energy I can use for work, on someone I barely know? A stranger, in fact.
So I ‘ordered’ myself to straighten up and stop being angry. I breathed and told myself to purge all the negative emotions swirling inside me that very minute. It wasn’t easy. It helped that I talked to Tim and she made me laugh. It also helped that I went out with my sister and Hazel for a while.
Before evening, I was back to a positive mood.

Larry was asked to look for a vendor of industrial handles. He was given a free rein over this task. He could have earned a big amount under the table but he didn’t do it. He loves his job and won’t jeopardize it. His boss learned about it and was very pleased with his sincerity and honesty.
Do you know what his reward was? A promotion, an increase in salary and a one-time special bonus from the management! His honesty paid off.

Our neighbor received three boxes of goodies from abroad. Most of their relatives live there already and they send the neighbor’s kids goodies once every few months. I think the kids run to get the box cutter right away when the relatives called to say there are toys there for them.
My dad worked abroad for some time when I was in high school. Every time he sent over a package for us, my siblings and I found it hard to contain our excitement over the gifts we’d get. I know how the neighbor’s kids are feeling right now.

I feel sleepy all the time. I don’t eat sweets and there’s little to no sugar in my coffee. And I stopped drinking soda for quite some time now. I guess I need to have an energy bar to boost my spirits?
Anyway, I recently learned that apple is a better alternative to sodas. It wakes you up better than coffee! I asked my sister to get me some so that I can eat a few slices before I do my tasks.

She’s one of the most adorable characters in an animated movie that I’ve watched! She’s Agnes from Despicable Me. We’d been waiting for this movie to come out ever since we saw it in a movie trailer at the cinema. Hazel was actually asking about it every week. Until finally we saw it Thursday of last week.
It was hilarious! The kids were all adorable: Margo, Edith and Agnes. Mr. Gru was so darn funny without meaning to. And those little things in his lab? Hahaha!
If you haven’t watched the movie yet, I suggest you do so with your kids. It’s one of the funniest kid movies I’ve watched in a long while.

There are so many things I learned from my mom especially when it comes to handling the finances of the family. I remember she used to hide money in a secret place that only the two of us knew. It’s to be used only for emergency purposes. That’s aside from the small savings my parents had in the bank.
These days, instead of hiding money like that, I have learned that it’s best to invest than let the money I have sitting idly somewhere. I’d like to buy gold as an investment. I am gathering the information I need at the USGoldBureau.com and then I’ll push through with this decision.

So I had an eye scare a couple of days ago. I thought it was only sty (kuliti) but then it’s not really manifesting the usual symptoms. It turned out later on that there’s a bump inside my left eyelid. Just a small bump that felt huge to me. I was scared because it’s my eye and who wants to go blind, right?
Anyway, I just let my eye rest and I temporarily shortened my online hours. Today, it’s almost gone. It’s itchy and it might be a variation of sty. I know, I should have gone to the doctor to have it checked. But doctors, clinics and hospitals are just not for me.

Do you have any Sunday evening rituals that you do before the new week begins?
I sleep early on Sundays as much as possible. I really want to start my Mondays right by waking up around 5 or 6 in the morning and working before 7am strikes. I also make sure that on Sunday evenings I’ve written down what I need to do for the week ahead. Short-term goals. I also list down tasks I need to finish by the end of the coming week.
What are your Sunday evening rituals?
