The way mom did.

My mom was very organized with all our important documents. She would put all of it carefully in leather briefcases so that it would be protected from getting wrinkled or ripped apart.

I keep reminding my sister to check all our documents and make sure to organize it the way mom did. I just want to make sure that all the pertinent documents of each one of us are intact and not missing. You just never know when you will need your authenticated birth certificate or your parents’ marriage contract, you know.
