I can feel the itch to change this blog’s theme again. Something with a white background and a simpler header, perhaps?
Or I might just change the colors here.
I’m not really sure what changes I will make but there will be some.
Most likely in the font and background.
Hmm…
In the meantime, I will take a much needed break.
Sleep a bit and then go back later to decide whether I will indeed change the theme here or not.
And then there will also be a couple of new entries here about what happened the past few days. Nothing too interesting but I still would want to tell you about it.

I hate this feeling of being used by people who take advantage of people who are in need (like me!). They know that you need money badly so they grab the chance to use you while you are vulnerable and very much gullible. YOU! You know who you are. Can I do it? Do I still have to devote for another one? I already know what it will be about. I am deciding on whether there will be enough time for it.

I saw an old blogger friend at the mall with her family. We looked at each other and there was a flash of recognition in our faces. Of course she recognized me. We’ve seen each other in person a couple of years ago. We interacted in our blogs for at least two years, if I am not mistaken.
She didn’t acknowledge me. In fact, she went ahead of her family, in a hurry. So I also didn’t acknowledge her. It would be embarrassing to call out and be snubbed. I told my friend about it and we were laughing. What did she expect? That I’d stall her, chat with her and ask her why she’s not visiting my blog anymore? Hahaha!
I just find it ridiculous!
Oh, well.

I am now using my very own brand new HP Compaq Presario. I bought it yesterday at a discounted price. I’ve been wanting to get a new laptop for quite some time now but since I have my priorities to fund, I kept setting it aside. Finally, a few days ago, I was able to save enough to get me a new laptop that my mind and hands are yearning for.
I am in love with this new laptop! I am digging it more and more. I know I will be able to write millions of articles and creatives using this gadget and I will earn more because of this.
Yes, I am claiming it!

When I started monetizing some of my blogs, I told myself that I will pay it forward. I will also try to help out others who are in need of an extra income like me. Someone else also helped me out when I was just starting so I thought helping others out is a great way for me to say thanks to the person who was kind enough to give me a boost.
A friend asked me about earning online. I didn’t hesitate and I emailed her as soon as I can. I told her how I am earning money online. She’s someone I feel connected with so that’s a plus. I am guiding her now in building her very own DOT COM. She’s a stay at home mom so I know how important it is for her to be with her kids even if she has a desire to earn and help her husband.
I am praying that there will be more opportunities for bloggers like me so that more people like my friend will find a way to earn money while still being with her kids.

Anyway, here are 7 Things About Me…
- I’m in my 30′s now.
- I love blogging. But I’ll give up my blogs to just read and read if I have the means to do so! Shocking, isn’t it? It seems all I did was blog for the past five years. A good book is still enough to pull me away from my blogs, though.
- I value my family more than any other relationship I have. At the end of the day, we always come back to our family and they’re the ones who will stand by us no matter what.
- I don’t know how to swim. I almost drowned when I was a little kid and that’s the end of swimming for me. I do love hitting the beach and staying in resorts but I still have a fear of drowning.
- I have a thing for notebooks, journals, notepads, wallets, purses and sling bags.
- I procrastinate a lot!
I am trying to kick this bad habit away but I still find myself doing it from time to time. Good thing this year had a good start for me.
- I believe in the power of a sincere prayer.

Whenever I see a blogger I know personally who is so inspired in posting one entry after another, I feel envious. Because I was once like that. Very inspired. In fact, more than inspired in posting entries. Imagine, most of the time I posted 3 entries a day!
But I guess it wouldn’t really be always like that. There would come a time when you’d feel you’ve reached the end of the line. Not really THE END but a break, if you must. I’ve reached that line.
I would like to re-start again. Just like the old times when I was so inspired to write and write and share whatever was on my mind. I am hoping this year will be it.

I have this overwhelming need to change the template of this blog. I think I’ve been using the same theme for the past two years. I don’t like the colors anymore. I want something more colorful. Red or fuchsia. Or yellow.
Still the same number of columns and the same sidebar content. Some tweaks and adjustments on the fonts to be used.
I would love the same header but of course it needs to be changed in color to whatever will be the overall color of the new theme I will use.
And I would love to write differently here. Back to the personal entries I used to dish out.

I miss Devilicious. She’s my blogging mentor. If not for her, I wouldn’t be where I am now. She taught me almost everything I know about blogging and monetizing a blog. She was generous in what she knew and never asked for anything in return.
I haven’t seen her online in months. Last I heard from her, she’s already back in the corporate grind. She’s not as active in blogging as she was in the past.
I miss her! And our almost daily chats. I wish she’d go back to blogging and be active once again.
