How often do you take a trip down memory lane and read your own blog?
I only get to read my past entries when I will be doing an upgrade. And that would be once every few months. But I have an old blog that I love reading from time to time. It is my oldest blog and I really love that one. That blog bore witness to all the anguish I felt in the past, dealing with so many things thrown my way. When I finish reading my old entries there, it makes me appreciate what I have now even more.

Before anything else… notice the change here? As a gift to myself, I had a blog make-over for My Own Utopia! Like it? It was made by Kathie of SimplyWP.net. Of course, the girl has to have an eyeglass because I wear one 
Anyway, by now you have probably realized already that when I am not in the mood to write anything, there are no new posts to be found here. I also realized that for me to be able to post here regularly, I will write a few entries already and just schedule it. I believe like an ordinary blogger, there are days when I have the ‘urge’ to write and write and write. But most days, I just find it more interesting to read other bloggers’ entries.
Well, since I was inspired to write some entries last night, I scheduled quite a number of entries for the next few days. If you haven’t subscribed here yet, please do so. That is, if you find my blog interesting. If not, of course I am not forcing you to.

My friend has been hanging out a lot here lately. I love that I was able to think of a list of topics that I can write about in my other blogs because of our yakking. When you talk to this girl, you will surely get a lot of ideas because of her stories. For example, yesterday she was with me and my siblings to watch the concert. While waiting for it, we were talking about old songs. I was able to write down a list of possible topics that I can write about. Love songs, slumbook (which I already wrote a few days ago), even Moen faucets which my aunt is asking me to search for, piano pieces and so much more.

I know that you’ve been noticing my absence for a few days now. I am present but have not been posting anything, just dropping cards daily. Been too busy with other things that I can’t find time to write down a decent entry.
Anyway, I was able to pull myself from the myriad of things I am immersed in and here I am…
I don’t know if it’s just me but I get affected by the things around me. What I mean is, when I see a person frowning all the time or who’s looking sad all the time, I feel an effect in my being. I also feel melancholic, sometimes bordering on absolutely sad for no apparent reason. This also happens to me when I get to read something sad or tragic. I carry the emotions that a novel I read evoked in me for days. I remember reading James Patterson’s Suzanne’s Diary for Nicholas. When I read the book, I didn’t know that it will evoke so much emotions in me. It was a tragic love story and well, I cried a bucket while reading it. I remember feeling extremely sad for weeks after reading it.
Anyway, the past week I didn’t read any sad novel but have been seeing this guy whenever I boot up my laptop. He looked so lonely in the photo that whenever I look at him, it’s like I could really feel his sadness. Weird ano? But it really affected me. I didn’t realize that the photo was the source of this weird sadness hovering over me for days until I stopped and looked inside myself. What I did was, I deleted the photo. I stopped looking at sad photos for a while and have turned to happy, vibrant media.
That is one of the reasons for the lack of new posts here. Hay… This week, things will be better, I promise

I spent last night and almost the entire day today sleeping and reading. It rained like crazy yesterday and almost the whole day today. Typhoon Frank hit the whole Philippines. Most of the country suffered from no electricity. Luckily, our area was one of those that didn’t suffer from it. We didn’t have a DSL connection, no phone lines, and no cable tv. But that’s okay. As long as the whole family is safe, we are fine.
It was a lazy day for all of us. Even my dad who doesn’t like to just laze around the house did just that.
On a sad note, bad luck struck a lot of families, most especially those houses that are flooded and those victims of the capsized boat MV Princess of the Stars. Let’s all pray for them.
I pray that everyone will be safe and sound at the comfort of their homes.

Can’t contain my excitement! I have seen Twilight the movie photos!!! The character playing Emmett is the same person as what I have in mind while reading the books. Grabe! And the one who will be playing Edward Cullen… perfect!
