Photos of each member of the family are scattered around the house. I think almost every house have the same photos of the family that every guest can gawk at.
We have small photos on top of the tv rack. We have larger ones on the wall. We have photos of us in various occasions. We also have a graduation photo of each of us. My two brothers are the only ones who don’t have college grad photos. My brother, the 4th one in the family, died of leukemia when he was 15. My other brother, our youngest, is already in his senior year in college. So the photo he has in the frame was one of his high school graduation.
I have every intention of buying a new house for the family, hopefully within the year. In that new house, I intend to dedicate a whole wall to family photos. I also intend for us to have a corner where family albums will be placed.

My little princess using a notepad to type whatever it was she was trying to write. She copies me. Whenever I am working in front of the computer, she would bring out her toy laptop or will borrow my sister’s netbook and pretend to be working as well.
She just loves to copy whatever it is I am doing!

I was in the middle of praying last week when I realized how badly I want for the whole family to move out of this house we live in and find another one in a place away from here.
It’s not healthy to be near relatives all the time. Do you know the saying that “Familiarity breeds contempt”? It holds true, especially if you live right next door to relatives and people who’ve seen you grow. They all feel like they have a right to meddle with your affairs and it will irritate you endlessly!
My uncle’s wife thought it was okay to poke fun at my sister when in fact we haven’t even had a conversation with her ever! Sure, they live two houses away. But doesn’t give her the right to just poke fun at any of us because we’re truly not close to her. In fact, we don’t like her at all!
That and factors from the past have made me realize just how desperately I want to relocate! I want to find a new house for the whole family to live in!

My sister and I were talking an hour or so ago about how we all need a getaway. We badly need a vacation, even a very short one, just to be away from these all. We need good vibes. We need to recharge and just take all the negative things in our minds and bodies out. OUT!
We are all in dire need of a getaway. But where to?

I swear it’s calling me!
But there are factors that need to be considered. Time and money. And emotions. Sigh.
I wish I can go even before the school year starts. I want to take my family, especially Hazel, to the beach and just relax and unwind and be free of all the worries we have!

Hazel had a haircut. This is her current look…

We like a contestant in America’s Next Top Model and this is the contestant’s haircut. My sister and I thought that Hazel already needed a new look so we asked her if she wanted the same look. She said yes.

Do you like her new look?
She doesn’t!
She wants her long hair back. I told her that she will have it back in no time. We will not cut her hair this short again.

There are two new little angels who came today to live with us. Their names are Ayen and Gab. They are my best friend’s kids. My best friend and her husband are both working abroad and the kids are temporarily left under my care. I am not the only one who got excited over the fact that two new angels will be living with us. Hazel is the most excited of us all!

Ayen, Ninin and Gab
Hazel now has a playmate at home!

Future supermodels!
We celebrated my Dad’s birthday yesterday. He said that Ayen and Gab are his gifts for his birthday. Two kids he can dote on aside from Hazel.
I do hope our new little angels will find our home a happy place to live in
Happy Sunday everyone!

I have been sick for the past two weeks already. Flu. Started with a bad cough then with a high fever. Yesterday, Hazel, my sisters and I watched Tangled. Today, we went to the same mall for the first day of the 3-day mallwide sale. I didn’t want to stay at home anymore and really wanted to go out so even if I still have fever and still coughing, I went out. Yesterday and today. Hehehe

My family and I are very mababaw. Just a trip to the mall is enough for us. We bought quite a few of the things we need. And watches for me and my sister Rox. I wanted to buy books since there’s a 20% discount in Fully Booked but there are no new ones that interested me. Sayang.
This is really a “Thank God it’s Friday” day! How’s your Friday so far? I hope everyone’s having fun!
Happy weekend to all!
