Notice Me!

I always read questions in That’s My Answer! And when I find a good question I’d love to answer, I post it in my blogs. I found this one and thought of posting it…

What is the craziest thing you’ve done to get someone to notice you?

Hmm… This one is really silly. When I was in high school, I was gaga over this guy. To make him notice me, I would pass by his classroom several times a day. I would ask my friends to tease me, in a loud voice so he could hear it. I would flirt with this friend of mine, fueling speculation in our circles that I was in a relationship with that guy. But in reality, I was just trying to make him jealous. I would ask our guy common friends to ask him what’s stopping him from courting me. I was desperada! Kadiri! *lol

Nothing happened. We almost became a couple but for some reason, something was holding him back.

When we were in college, he told me that he was intimidated by me. You see, I had this large group of friends plus I was popular in the school. He thought that he might be biting more than he could chew if he pursued me. He told me that. We’re friends now and I believe he’s already engaged.

Desperada! Kadiri talaga! *lol

Peep and eavesdrop

Even though the writer puts it out there for anyone to read, do you think that reading someone’s blog can be likened to voyeurism, or perhaps being fly on the wall in someone else’s life?

To some extent, it is. Especially when you are reading blogs that have these confessions and well, secrets that they write down for everyone to read. It’s like peeking into someone else’s bedroom and eavesdropping. I remember reading a blog of a bored housewife and it tells of her adventures when her husband is away for business trips. It was disgusting and intriguing. After reading an entry or two, I felt like putting on saddles to the horses and asking friends to ride it and pull me in different directions. I felt so hurt for the husband after reading it.

Horror or happy ending?

Do you go to watch suspenseful/horror movies, or are you a happy-ending kinda guy/girl? A little bit of horror and a lot more of the happy endings. That’s me. I remember I stayed at this condo hotel with a friend and we watched two horror movies in succession. It was a lot of fun because it was raining that day, we were curled up on the couch and the condo hotel room that we got was pleasant and lively and not at all the horror-type of room that we saw in the movies. It was one of those pleasant memories that pop in my head when I see a horror movie playing.

How many again?

A friend of mine asked me how many email addresses do I have. Well, I told her that I have several that I maintain. Most are for business purposes. I mean I have a couple of work that I do and I have an email for each one. It’s just this weird habit of mine for organizing things. In a really weird way for some. Thank goodness there are password managers that I can use to remind me of usernames and passwords. Otherwise, I might be in need of the best wrinkle cream already. Forcing myself to remember all those passwords. Just last week, I had a hard time remembering a couple of passwords for some accounts that I have that’s why I bought a notebook and wrote down every account that I have with the corresponding username and password.

Slow week?

What would you do if you couldn’t surf all week?

For the past two and a half years, I have never been offline for more than two days. And that’s about five instances, I believe. Those were days I was on vacation and that time during a really bad typhoon here in the Philippines and all lines went down. But that’s about it.

But if I couldn’t surf for one week, well, I will just surely read books that are gathering dust already. Books I keep on piling and have not gotten around to reading yet because of work. I could just picture myself lounging and totally absorbed with the book I am reading. It would be even better if I am in one of those Caribbean villa rentals that I’ve seen…

Sweet.

If only I can spare that much time off work.

Crayons and coffee

In a box of crayons, what color would you choose to use first?

I normally choose brown first. Neutral color for me. Earth color. Brown also reminds me of espresso. There are days that I crave for a cup of espresso, craving for it to the point that I wish I have espresso machines at my disposal. But depending on my mood, I could also choose black. Black reminds me of coffee as well, of course. Brewed, strong coffee. No sugar. Good for days when I lack sleep.

How about you, what color would you choose first?

Summer vacation

Suppose your could be on vacation with pay for the entire summer. Also assume that someone offered to pay for any summer adventure you could imagine. Where would you choose to go and what would you do?

It would definitely be a trip to Japan. I would love to explore the whole country. As in the WHOLE country! ;)

Button

If you had to wear a button with a maximum of five words on it describing your outlook on life, what would your button say?

My button will definitely say “Live life to the fullest”. I always thought that this is the only way to live. Of course, this will also serve as a reminder to me that I should never remain passive in life.

What about you?
