Fighting fair

Thursday, March 4th, 2010

When you get into a disagreement or a debate with someone how likely are you fight fair? Do you tend to get emotional and the words just fly? Or do you stay calm and collected, sticking to the main situation?

AngryWoman

Truth be told, I tend to get emotional and I say hurtful things when I am angry. That’s the reason I don’t usually join a debate or get into an argument with a love one. I don’t fight fair. But then after a tirade, when I calm down, I would feel guilty for being angry and saying those hurtful things. I won’t say sorry right out but I will find a way to make peace.

Believe it or not, I haven't seen Star Wars!

Tuesday, July 14th, 2009

Some people are into sci-fi movies. I am not much into it. X-Files is fine. I’ve also watch a couple of alien movies that I regretted…

But with Star Wars… No, I don’t have any plans of seeing it. For the simple reason that I am just not into the movie. I find it corny. Sorry.

I have never seen a single movie. I’ve watched the trailers and it’s enough for me to know that I won’t be enjoying it. I actually find it weird that people even line up to watch it right away. I just don’t get it.

When my brother was still living, he watched a gala premiere of this movie with some cousins. I was invited but I declined. I’d surely be the party pooper hehe

Would you rather

Would you rather go bungee jumping off of a really high bridge or parachute over the Grand Canyon?

Hahaha what a question! I would rather go bungee jumping off a really high bridge. Have you seen the Grand Canyon?? There’s no way in hell I would parachute over that place ever! I would die of fright, that’s for sure!

Actually, I am not afraid of heights but I don’t like stepping on the edge of a precipice. It makes me think of plunging to my death. And it makes my knees shake hehe

Laugh trip

Sunday, January 18th, 2009

What film can you watch and watch over and over again and still laugh out loud at?

Right now, all I can think of is Rush Hour. All three movies of Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker never fails to crack me up when I get to watch it. For a series, I still say FRIENDS is the best! Whenever my sister and I want to have a good time, we put in FRIENDS and watch, laugh our hearts out.

Wishlist

Sunday, December 14th, 2008

I saw this question and it made me think… “Christmas is coming soon, and I really don’t know what I want. Do you know what you want? What is on your list?”

Actually, I already know what I want. It’s a short list that mostly has items connected to books and the new Blackberry, the Amazon Kindle, and so many more. I saw an answer by someone and she wants some new english saddles for her kids who love riding. I saw another answer wherein the person only listed a cable subscription.

I realized that so many people have simple dreams and wants that if only I have enough money, I would want to grant the wishes even half of those in the list.

Shower gel?

TMA Today: What does your shower gel smell of?

I love shower gels, body wash and the like. I have three bottles of shower gel given by my aunt. One smells of lavender, freesia and green tea. I often use the green tea because the smell is really soothing to the nerves.

What about you?

Blogging while at work

Monday, October 27th, 2008

TMA Today: Let’s be completely honest here, do you blog while you are at work?

When I was still working for a call center company, yes I did some blogging on the side. Especially when I was not doing anything.

You know, I was always unlucky when it comes to bosses. Maybe, it’s me, I don’t know. The last company I was employed at, my boss was kind enough but she was not used to delegating work. So I am left doing little work. I am used to multi-tasking and I am used to doing tons of work in the office. The tasks delegated to me by my boss then could be done in an hour or two and the rest of the day I was left chatting with my co-worker and blogging.

Star Light, Star Bright

TMA Today: What do you wish for when you wish upon a star?

I always wish for good health and for my silly dreams to come true *wink

When I was a kid, I always make sure I look at the sky when twilight arrives. And then I whisper to myself…

Star light, star bright,
The first star I see tonight,
I wish I may, I wish I might,
Have the wish I wish tonight.

Silly of me to do so until now but you know, there is something child-like in doing this once in a while. It makes me feel like being that kid again that has no worries except winning the next kiddie game.

Any age

Monday, September 22nd, 2008

If you could be any age again for one week, what age would you be?

I would love to be 17 again. Starting out life as an adult, embarking on a college degree, not yet committing monumental mistakes that would change the course of your life. When I was 17, I was so naive. I thought life is good and that I could do no wrong. Of course, life was hard and it turned out to be full of downs most of the time. I regretted so many things I did and if I could go back, I would have taken a different path.

All About You

Saturday, July 19th, 2008

What are you reading? I am currently reading the Malory novels. I am into historical romance right now ;)

What did you last do that went horribly wrong? Hay… this numerous opps that I forgot to put interim in between. Kainis!

Dogs or cats? Dogs. I would have preferred cat because it seems more intelligent for some reason but the poop… Nah, never mind hehe

City or country? City. I can go to the country for a vacation but after several days, I just miss the noise.

Be honest, would you ever name your son something that ended with the letter X? Nope. I don’t want to follow the footsteps of Angelina and Brad.

How about you? Care to answer the questions?

Happy weekend!

Notice Me!

Sunday, June 29th, 2008

I always read questions in That’s My Answer! And when I find a good question I’d love to answer, I post it in my blogs. I found this one and thought of posting it…

What is the craziest thing you’ve done to get someone to notice you?

Hmm… This one is really silly. When I was in high school, I was gaga over this guy. To make him notice me, I would pass by his classroom several times a day. I would ask my friends to tease me, in a loud voice so he could hear it. I would flirt with this friend of mine, fueling speculation in our circles that I was in a relationship with that guy. But in reality, I was just trying to make him jealous. I would ask our guy common friends to ask him what’s stopping him from courting me. I was desperada! Kadiri! *lol

Nothing happened. We almost became a couple but for some reason, something was holding him back.

When we were in college, he told me that he was intimidated by me. You see, I had this large group of friends plus I was popular in the school. He thought that he might be biting more than he could chew if he pursued me. He told me that. We’re friends now and I believe he’s already engaged.

Desperada! Kadiri talaga! *lol

Peep and eavesdrop

Sunday, June 15th, 2008

Even though the writer puts it out there for anyone to read, do you think that reading someone’s blog can be likened to voyeurism, or perhaps being fly on the wall in someone else’s life?

To some extent, it is. Especially when you are reading blogs that have these confessions and well, secrets that they write down for everyone to read. It’s like peeking into someone else’s bedroom and eavesdropping. I remember reading a blog of a bored housewife and it tells of her adventures when her husband is away for business trips. It was disgusting and intriguing. After reading an entry or two, I felt like putting on saddles to the horses and asking friends to ride it and pull me in different directions. I felt so hurt for the husband after reading it.
